In the article on folk music, we told about the fact that the carols and shchedrivky songs still have not lost their popularity among Ukrainians. They both continue to be sung on New Year's Eve and Christmas, and also Ukrainians come up with new musical adaptations for old folk motifs. Such songs are performed by pop singers as well, both in their original form and in the modern one.
They say that the song is the soul of the nation. And it is in the Ukrainian culture that this can be traced never better. Without exaggeration, the song accompanied the Ukrainian people in all spheres of life: in work on the field, on holidays with family, at the birth of children, during prayers in the church and in many other cases.
When we think of theatres we generally think of a place that produces shows which are predominantly designed to cater for adults and although children and teenagers do attend, productions are never really designed with only this part of the audience in mind.
