Radisson Blu Resort Coming to Bukovel
One of the world’s largest and ever growing hotel groups is the Rezidor Hotel Group, and it has recently announced that it will be opening a resort in Bukovel, Ukraine. If all goes according to plan, the resort will open its doors in time for the 2011/2012 skiing season, and winter sport enthusiasts can look forward to enjoying the luxury and comfort the group of hotels is known for, while taking full advantage of the slopes and wonders of skiing in Ukraine. The Radisson Blu Resort will be a welcome addition to the tourism industry.
President and CEO of Rezidor, Kurt Ritter, expressed his excitement over the new resort, adding another facility to their ever growing hotel and resort portfolio. It will be the most modern resort in Ukraine. The Radisson Blu Resort Bukovel has been placed in the ideal location in the Carpathian Mountains, which offers magnificent winter sport opportunities, and is ideal for a variety of skiing and snowboarding disciplines. The winter sports season usually begins in December and runs through to Apri. Over and above the beauty of the snow blanketed mountains, Bukovel also has mineral waters and hot springs that have become known for their health properties. There are therefore activities for non-skiers to enjoy as well.
The Radisson Blu Resort will feature various facilities, such as a night club, lobby bar, restaurants, ballroom and cigar lounge. There will also be retail shops, a kids club and a game room, with treatment rooms, fitness centers and spas to relax skiers. The hotel will have steam rooms, saunas and an indoor pool. For accommodation, the resort will have 252 spacious rooms for visitors. With the combination of spectacular skiing and luxurious relaxation, it is anticipated that the Radisson Blu Resort Bukovel will grow into one of the most popular skiing resorts for foreign visitors.
With over four hundred hotels located in sixty different countries, the Radisson Blu Resort Bukovel will become a respected addition to the Rezidor operation. They operate under various brands, such as Radisson Blu Hotels and Resorts, Country Inns and Suites and Park Inn By Radisson. The new resort is welcomed by Ukraine, and its tourism industry, as it is hoped that the new modern ski resort will boost visitor numbers and draw more international skiers to the country.
