Nightlife in Ukraine
The nightlife in Ukraine varies from place to place. Generally speaking, you will find more to see and do in the bigger cities than you will in small towns. Ukrainians are open-minded and enjoy trying new things. As a result, you will find a variety of discos, nightclubs, bars and restaurants, which all sport their own unique flavor of entertainment. As with most places, it is usually best to try out as much of Ukraine’s nightlife as possible before deciding which nightspots are your favorite.

Kiev has a very active nightlife and is one of the best places to go when looking for nighttime entertainment. Bars and Pubs
Baraban
Located at Prorizna 4A, this cosy, well priced pub may be hard to find. It offers great Ukrainian food and jazz music.
Docker Pub
The perfect place to take a walk on the wild side, Docker Pub is a lively pub which features life bands, cocktails and dancing on the tables! Docker Pub can be found at Bohatyrs’ka 9.
Eric’s Bierstube
Primarily German in origin, the Bierstube is popular with yuppies, foreigners and gays. It offers German and American food an can be found at Chervonoarmiys’ka 20.
Formula Club
For great Italian food and an exciting, racing-orientated atmosphere, try the Formula Club at Kyl’tseva 2. Besides on-site betting, a big-screen TV and a driving simulator, the club also hosts discos and live bands.
Hairy Lemon
Featuring, billiards, football, casino games, great fast foods, cocktails and brilliant d�cor, the Hairy Lemon can keep you entertained for hours. You’ll find it at Lesi Ukrainky bul’v. 34.
O’Brien’s
The city’s first and best Irish pub serves great Irish food and beverages. You’ll also find a big-screen TV, a dartboard and a billiard table. O’Brien’s is located at Mykhailivs’ka 17A.
Safe
Popular with Kviv models, Safe is primarily a lounge-bar. You’ll find it’s comfortable, laid-back atmosphere at Chernonoarmiys’ka 23.
Viola’s Bierstube
Popular with foreigners and young English-speaking Ukrainians, Viola’s Bierstube offers a range of alcoholic beverages and tasty snacks. It also hosts a ‘Woman’s Club’ once a month. You’ll find it at T. Shevchenka bul’v. 1A.
Night Clubs
112 Cocktail Bar
A very popular local hangout, 112 serves up a variety of drinks to a vibrant, disco-like atmosphere. 112 is located at Chervonoarmiys’ka 5, Arena Complex and is open till late.
Carribean Club
The only proper Latin disco club in the city, the club has a great, high-energy atmosphere and great food. Music can range from traditional songs to the latest in Latin pop. Find it at Kominterna 4.
Decadence House
If you want to dress up for the night, try Decadence House. The club has recreated the extravagance of the eighteenth century and is regularly the host for a number of glamorous parties. You’ll find it at Shota Rustavelli 16.
Faberge
A Strictly over 18’s club, this mature establishment can be found within the walls of an old fortress. You will be able to enjoy a number of great drinks and delicious snacks whilst dancing the night away. It’s located at Rybal’ska 22.
Fiesta
A Mexican club and restaurant with a spicy atmosphere. You can enjoy the mixture of Latino and pop at Gorkoho 115.
Joss
Joss is actually an entertainment complex inside Hotel Tourist. It features a pub, a sushi restaurant, a casino and live music. There is also a show bar and a dance floor. Joss is located at Raisy Okipnoi 2.
Tato Fashion Club
If you have a passion for fashion, don’t miss this sexy club. A mixture of regular, live fashion shows, striptease acts, good food and dancing, it’s definitely not to be missed.
