The tour began on the main floor where this game-changing event was held. It was obvious by this time that Germany was going to lose the war and the three leaders met to discuss Europe's post-war reorganization. A few points agreed on were: the division of Germany into occupied zones administered by U.S., British, French, and Soviet forces; unconditional surrender of Nazi Germany; and Soviet "influence" in Eastern Europe.
