Australian Aborigine Didgeridoos Bring Warmth to Wintery Kyiv

Kyiv, February 6, 2012. The National Museum of Ukrainian Decorative Folk Art invited residents and guests to gaze upon and learn about the traditional paintings, jewelry, and musical instruments of Aboriginal Australians. The exhibit offered didjeridoo master-classes, an instrument made of termite hollowed tree limbs remodeled with minor adjustments. The Didgeridoo is a sacred aboriginal instrument considered a gift from the ancestors. The guests could also watch The Dawn of Dreams cartoon series, as well as a video documentary of the modern life of the Aborigines and their cultural heritage.
