World-touring Chinese Lantern Festival now in Kyiv, runs through March

15,000 light bulbs, over 2 kilometers of silk, and two weeks were needed for an entire team to install this massive exhibit on display in Ukraine’s capital now.

A festival featuring giant traditional Chinese lanterns is now on display in Kyiv.

About 30 installations are presented, the Ukrainian TSN news service has reported.

An invited team of specialists from China worked on the lanterns. During the installation, 15,000 light bulbs and over 2 kilometers of silk were used. The installation took almost two weeks.

The Chinese exhibition has already been presented in 40 countries and finally reached Ukraine.

It will last until March 31.
