  • Where is my neighbour Poland?

Poland, my friend, where are you?

    We are being killed, yet...

We are Christian brothers and sisters.
We share the same democratic values.
We have family and friendly relations.
    We are business partners.
    We have shared blood.

Yet you watch and do nothing to help us in Ukraine.
Do we fall one by one? One democratic nation after the next, under Moscow rule?
One family after the next, in death?

Or do we fight for life? For each other.

If I am Ukraine, your neighbour, under attack by a bully, an evil thug, I defend myself.
For our life! For my brothers and sisters. Not just to exist, but to live in freedom and hope, like you.

Many of us have died already. Not just for us. But for you too. A free nation.

And you only talk and watch, like France and England, and others.
Do you remember the Nazis and the Communists in WWII?
    And the betrayal...?

We know in Polish there is a word for somebody who can help but doesn't help because of fear.

We choose not to fear. Remember, fear only the Lord of Peace my brother.

    We need your help.
We are beside you, and still free.
    We are your neighbour.

We have your back. Do you have ours?

    Peace always Poland.

What do you want Poland to do, B&G? Why is that not part of your little, uh...poem?

Even if that would be true - SO? Western part of Ukraine has many monuments to fascists from OUN/UPA, who commited genocide of Polish civilian population.

Why, in your opinion, should be help people who consider murderers of Polish women and children "heroes"?

For that matter, why do you think that such people deserve help from anyone?

We are Christian brothers and sisters.
Did you know that Greek Catholic (might be known as "Ukrainian Catholic") priests blessed knives and axes that were later used to cut, kill Polish women and children?

Did you know that in order to make the killing easier, Ukrainian fascists (called "heroes" in western Ukraine) from UPA were often attacking Polish villages on sundays, when the Poles were gathered together in churches?

We share the same democratic values.
Are you implying that the democratic values held by the Polish condone or even tolerate worship of fascist war criminals, like the Ukrainian values do?

        We have shared blood.
We first of all share blood with the tens of thousands of Polish civilians mass murdered by Ukrainian fascists from UPA - who are currently hailed as "heroes" in western Ukraine, not to mention at least a part of Ukrainian diaspora in Canada and USA. Are you aware how inapprioprate is your mention of "blood" in this context?

We choose not to fear. Remember, fear only the Lord of Peace my brother.
I realise the positive, though not necessarily sensible tone of your post, but do you know that for many Poles being called "brothers" by Ukrainians is actually insulting?

        We have your back.
You have our back? Oh My God, in WHAT?

Meanwhile, you DO have lands and property robbed from the Polish by Stalin - it would be nice to receive them back.

The fact that anyone is unhappy about a country that wants independence and is a sovereign nation indicates a lot about their mentality.

            Hannia,
Don't judge Poles because of him. I swear you, he is 100% Russian, not a Pole, even not born in Poland!
Btw. Poland has really tense relations with Russia now, gas pipeline omitting Poland from North and few embargoes from Russia including all fruits, vegetables and pork.
Don't expect Poland to beat russia once again. We are too divided, too weak and too many russian spies everywhere now to do it alone!
I believe that Ukraine with support from "west" will each day give stronger resistance and will survive.
            Slava Ukraini!

And Poland is ready to hand back the territory that was "transferred" from Germany to Poland as part of that same land transfer?

What a shameless lie on your part Hannia.

I wrote exactly why I'm unhappy with Ukraine:

                1. Worship of fascists from OUN/UPA, who conducted genocide of Polish civilian population.

                2. Issues with land and private property taken from us by Stalin and currently being in Ukrainian hands. A lesser, less disguisting thing - sure, but I think enough to make calling the Poles "brothers" hypocritical if aware, inappriopriate if unaware.

                .

For other users: the Ukraine-supporting individual "Darco" is a complete liar - he falsely accuses me of being Russian and being not born in Poland, even though he has no proof to support the accusation. I don't speak Russian and on Polish internet forums there is a double digit percentage of voices like mine.

The way I see it, Germans started WWII, murdering lots of Poles and ruining Poland - I think these are two different cases.

Moim zdaniem mój komentarz był adekwatny względem poziomu zachowania Darco, który bezczelnie kłamie, zarzucając mi bycie Rosjaninem.

Ah okay, Poland should keep its territorial gains but Ukraine should give them up. Makes sense, after all Poland won the war. Oh wait, that's not true. Actually, Poland got wiped out in the "first 5 minutes" of WW II. In that light, it actually received a pretty sweet deal after the war.

Thank you for your good question Tkach.

Even if you were Mr. Putin asking me the same question,
I'll give you the same answer.

The people of Poland AND Ukraine need to act according their conscience and memory.

Remember the Polish air 'crash' in Russia a few years ago... I remember.

May you, in the name of Jesus Christ, Prince of Peace, who are believers in the Faith, people of Rus too,
act according to the Holy Spirit.

                          Not the state. Not corruption.

But in the name of Jesus Christ.

                          Amen.

                          Peace always.

Michael's opinions, assuming that he is not Putin's agent are unusual in Poland maybe except among people more that 80 years old living nearby Ukraine, which suffered during WW2. I obviously know and understand this problem from the past but it's nothing to do with the present Ukraine and present Russian invasion it suffers. I've found Michael bringing ANY discussion to the same old story. I suggest him to visit a good psychologist, maybe he would improve his condition. And I suggest us to ignore him.

ALL Polish people I know fully support Ukraine's cutting Russian ties and transforming to the free country. I hope the world's actions together with Ukraine bloody fights in the east will eventually push off Russian terrorists and keep them out of the country. And what's the most important remove Putin's from his power, which is the only guarantee of a future's peace.
                              Slava Ukraini.
