Genealogy Travel in Ivano-Frankivsk and Carpathians.

    Hi everyone!

I've just helped the people who were looking for their relatives'
birth place in Ivano-Frankivsk area and Carpathian mountains.

We visited Lviv city, Ivano-Frankivsk city, local state archive, the village
    where their relatives were born.

There are many people abroad looking for their relatives in Ivano-Frankivsk region and Carpathian
    mountains, Ukraine, I beleive.

So in case you need any help,
feel free to contact me with any questions you might have.

    Best regards,

    Yurko,

That is mainly what we do here. We reunite descendants of immigrants in the diaspora w/their families in Ukraine. I have noticed your posts in the general forum for a little while now.

How familiar are you with the various archives? Can you provide references. What languages do you speak? You mentioned the Carpathian Mountains. Does this include the Zakarpatska oblast?

      Dear Hannia,

      Thank you for your reply.
The work you do is great.

Actually it was my first time in Ivano-Frankivsk state archive.
      Yes, I can provide references.
      I speak English and German.
Mentioning Carpathian mountains I mean Ivano-Frankivsk region, but that also can be some part of Zakarpatska oblast,
some areas there like Rakhiv and Yasinya are closer and more often are reached from Ivano-Frankivsk.

      Kind regards,
      Yurko

        Yurko,

Don't stay a stranger. Feel free to answer any questions for which you may have answers. We welcome all native Ukrainians, who can help in any way.
