The pictures of the undeground monastery(12century) in Stradch,Страдч, (Lviv region, Ukraine) and the cave monastery(16century) in Krekhiv,Крехів (Lviv region). Now they are places of physical and spiritual healing. The monastery in Stradch was second after the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra monastery in Ukraine underground in Kievan Rus' (Kyivan) and Galicia-Volyn (Halytsko-Volyn)principality.It was stored at a high mountain on the left bank of the river near the village Vereschytsa. At the top of the mountain there was a fortified hill-fort. The monastery ceased to exist approx. 14 cent. In our time preserved many legends about the monastery, the monks destroy the Mongol Tatars. The monastery in Krekhiv was established in the 16th century by two monks from the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, Joel and Silvester, who settled in nearby caves. Around 1612 or 1618 the owner of Zhovkva, Stanisław Żółkiewski offered the monks land to build their monastery, later surrounded with fortifications during the second half of the 17th century to defend it from roaming Tatar hordes. The Chernobyl Accident - 22 Years Later [02:46]
"50000 people used to live here, now its a ghost town." Those few words explain it all. On April 26, 1986, at 1:23:40 AM, reactor number four near Pripyat, Ukraine suffered a catastrophic steam explosion, causing a nuclear meltdown. A cloud of highly radioactive material was sent for hundreds of thousands of miles in every direction. The radioactive material that was disperssed was approximately 30 to 40 times more than what happened in Hiroshima, and is still present today. The exclusion area, as it is now called, is heavily guarded by soldiers. The radiation levels are still almost 50 times more than what is considered natural. Staying in the area closest to the explosion can cause severe radiation poising. The reactor that exploded over 20 years ago is now enclosed in a giant concrete shelter to keep the remaining radiation particles inside. The Chernobyl accident was the only incident in history to reach the highest level on the International Nuclear Event Scale, a level 7, which requires "a major accident." The incident resulted in 56 direct deaths to the explosion, and 4000 other people in the nuclear fallout. In total, 366000 people were forced to leave their homes on that fateful April day, and ordered to only take one suitcase, and they were told they would return in 3 days. It has been 20 years since Chernobyl has been inhabited, and any future attempt of settling the area is very slim. "50000 people used to live here, now its a ghost town ...

[Eugenie Derevyanko, Master Sculptor]: "I believe that before saying something in the world, you should be able to listen to others. You should be a thankful listener. During your lifetime people speak to you, but because of your foolishness you may not hear them and miss something which could be the most important thing in your life. We should be careful with one another and listen to one another, because there are a lot of worthy people. Missing their words is a crime against oneself." He also mentioned that his own son was the model the 'Listener.' If only all children would listen as well as this does Another highlight is this scultpure of a ballerina, created by the husband and wife team Leonid and Elena Kozlova: [Elena Kozlova, Sculptor]: "My husband is fascinated with ballet. He has been observing ballerinas for a long time. Once, he watched them after a concert. They were sitting in this posture ...
