Korosten Archeological equivalents of annalistic Iskorosten are the three sites of the ancient settlements and the remnants of necropolis which are situated in the south-eastern part of modern Korosten, on the right bank of the river Uzh. On the first two sites of the ancient settlements the artifacts from VIII-X centuries have been noted, on the third - VIII-XIII centuries, and from late medievalism of XVI-XVII centuries.
