Port anniversary raises tension over navy's future [02:32]
The Ukrainian port of Sevastopol is marking its 225th anniversary. About three quarters of the city's residents are ethnically Russian, and the port is the main base of Russia's Black Sea fleet. But that could soon end as Ukraine wants Russia's navy to leave when its lease expires in nine years' time.

Ukraine - Air Force Ilyushin Il-76MD and Sukhoi Su-27UB Depart RIAT 2011 [02:52]
So here are this years star attractions at RIAT 2011 from RAF Fairford England. Seen here departing the show on Monday 18.07.2011 after spending the weekend on static display. The Sukhoi Su-27UB is from the 831st Tactical Aviation Brigade and is with its support ship Ilyushin Il-76MD 78820 from 25th Transport Aviation Brigade - Melitopol AB, Ukraine.This aircraft seems to struggle to get off the ground taking off then slammimng back onto the runway!! have a look and please leave your comments! It was great to see the Ukraine Air Force back at RIAT and RAF Fairford for the first time in 12 years lets hope next year we get some bigger ande better things!Thanks Guys!

Sites documented include the kindergarten in Chernobyl, an aquatic research facility near the reactor cooling lake, the reactors themselves (including reactor #4), and various locations in Pripyat: the square, sports hall, amusement park, pool, theater, and secondary school #3.

I took a number of videos from Navy Day at Sevestopol, Crimea, Ukraine, on July 25th, 2010. It was really neat. The Russian Navy has a base here and they paraded their ships out on the water. Neat to see.
