Filiki Eteria Museum in Odessa, Ukraine
House of a famous Greek wheat merchant Grigory Marasli became a shelter for Filiki Eteria and nowadays functions as a museum and the Centre of Greek language and Culture in Odessa. Filiki Eteria in translation from Modern Greek language means 'The unity of friends' and any person of any religion and citizenship could be its member. This unity was founded by the merchants Nikolas Skoufas, Emmanuil Ksanfos and Afanasios Tsakalof in 1814 in Odessa with a goal of organization the Greek revolution in 1821 against Turks.
