Visa free travel

I am taking the easy approach and asking on this forum rather than doing exhaustive research.I am not a UA reader.
I am UK citzen, my friend is UA citizen.
Visits to UA are fine but the time has come to explore other places.
UK visa takes too long at present.
Is there anyone out there who has knowledge of countries to which a UA citizen may enter visa free.(and will pass this on!!)
EU is probably out,that now means CZ, Cyprus, Malta etc.
Would appreciate any ideas advice etc.
Don't want to resort to Far East at the moment.

Cyprus allows visa-free entry to citizens of Great Brtain and Ukraine (also Russia). Maybe this will change when Cyprus enters the EU on May 1st 2004. It is probably worth checking the current situation.

Another possibilty is Thailand but that is a bit further to go. It isn't that expensive though.

I have been to both countries and recommend both for holidays.
