Hi there How are things with you guys?
My name is Kenny. I'm from Auckland, New Zealand.
I've got a plan to visit Ukraine in May.
I wonder whether or not I need to apply for a visitor visa in order to visit there. Any one to answer this question there?

Ta

Regards,
Kenny

Hi Kenny,
I live in the US and will be visiting Ukraine in March. I found lots of information about what is required for entry into Ukraine at the Washington DC Ukrainian Embassy's website. A valid passport and visa is required for US citizens and I am sure the same holds true for citizens of New Zealand. I had no problems at all obtaining my visa. The entire transaction was done through the mail, very convenient. I would advise you to check out the Ukrainian Embassy's website in your country, if there is one. I would think that you can also contact any travel agent for info too. Just make sure that you get all your information and paperwork completed well before you plan on leaving in case something goes wrong. I hope this has helped. Good luck and have a wonderful trip!

Entry visa

Hi Capri

Thanks for the information!

I have got some information as follow from a web site.

"No visas are required for citizens of the countries
of the Commonwealth of Independent States"

According to the above statement it seems to me that I don't have to get a tourist visa for visiting Ukraine.

To the best of my knowledge, New Zealand is a member country of the Commonwealth.

Can you kindly tell me whether or not this is the case at your earliest convenience ?

If not the case any one can inform me which nearest embassy or consulate office I need to contact for an application ?

I would be obliged if anyone tell me information as the above.

Regards,
Kenny from New Zealand
