North of Kiev

Hi there,

I am planning a trip to Ljutsch ( maybe wrong spelling), it is a small town 20km north of Kiev to search for the grave of my grandfather.

Maybe some of you can answer me three questions:
1) How to go from Kiev to "Ljutsch" ?
2) How does this town looks like ? ( farm area, industrial ) ??
3)Are there any forests around Ljutsch ?

that exactly the village I am looking for. I it is the the place where the Red Army crossed the river first.
