Dear All

Thank you for your postings and I'm very sorry I couldn't reply in time. August was very busy with work, so I hope you will forgive me.

About visa to France: in fact it is not that difficult to get it. It would be better if your girlfriend contacts French Embassy in Kiev (228-87-28; 229-08-70 8:30am-1:00pm) and get a list of the documents she needs for visa. Maybe in this case she can avoid travel agency and additional expences. If they will send her to travel agency definitelly - better to ask them what agency they would recommend (so she will avoid those who in the "black list" at the Embassy). So far I'm working only for incoming tourism (though I used to work for outgoing as well).

Dear Holland, if you have some time drop me an e-mail somehow and we can keep in touch and maybe I can help you with your family research. )

Thank you Hania for links. Though in every single case the info should be checked and updated - I think general info is very useful for to estimate time/money and plan the jorney.

Have a nice day!

Question istanbul-kiev

right i've checked the web site of unipress as well and it seems that sailing is much cheaper than flying from istanbul to ukraine..but it takes a day..and the arrival is in odessa..what about getting to kiev ? how long does it take ? and how much does it cost from odessa to kiev ? and what kind of a transportation is recommended ? by bus ? by charter ? by train ? all i want to know is, is it worth travelling by ferry or one way or the other it's gonna be the same with a direct flight ? thanks

Re: istanbul-kiev

Hi, You know, You don't need to bother about transport in teh Ukraine. Example prices of the trains are very low, from Kiev to Lvov You would pay about 7-8$ in the 2nd class with place where You can lie down and sleep. For more information, I please write me on e-mail, sorry for my english, but I'm not native See you
