Is there good fishing in Ukraine and what type of fich live there?

Who all here loves to fish? I know I do. Is the fishing good in Ukraine, what type live there, and where is the best fishing?

Steve, I have never seen anything posted or saw with my own eyes anyone fishing, but everyone eats alot of fish. While I am in Crimea this time, I want to see if I can spend the day with an "old salt". I cannot imagine that I won't find some sailors on the Black Sea that wouldn't want to take a mate out to soak a line and drink a little and have fun catching a BIG, exotic, Black Sea bass. I'll let you know when I get back.

There's loads of fishing, it will however, depend on the time of year and where you are as to what you catch.

If you're there in winter why not try ice fishing with the older folks?

Walk on to any frozen river, drill a hole and wait. It's very cold, but the rewards in terms of fish can be outstanding.
