Only three days to Ukraine

Hello All,

The time has finally arrived. In three days from now I shall be in Ukraine, accompanied and hosted by Lady Galina! I have rather impatiently awaited this adventure for months now.

I shall be landing in Borispol on Tuesday afternoon. Svitlana of Kiev Travel is providing quite a few valuable services for me. She is meeting Galina at Grand Central Railway Station, where she will present her with flowers of welcome to Kiev. Svitlana's limo service will then take Galina to the apartment flat that she has booked for us to stay for three festive days and nights in the city. Svitlana will bring Galina to the airport to meet me in the VIP Reception Hall, where Svitlana also has arranged for assistance with customs clearance, luggage handling, and transfer to the city on my first trip to the airport. Svitlana will also act as interpreter for the first few hours of our meeting.

Upon my return to the States, I will post concerning the experiences that we had in Kiev, traveling by bus to Odessa to meet Galina's son's family, then going to Galina's hometown of Evpatoria, from where we shall launch ourselves to Simferopol, Sevastopol, Yalta, and other places.

I want to express my gratitude for those of you who have given me good information, encouragement, advice, and companiionship here at ukraine.com. Wish us well. This is going to be high adventure!
