to Paul from UK

Paul, you need to apply for visa. Just you don't need the letter of invitation. You can put in the form any name of Ukrainian and address. they obviously will not check it.
But if you want to be honest with form. You can contact me and we will decide something about it. kievtrav@zeos.net

yeah i know that, its just that i saw this on http://www.odessaglobe.com :-
In summer 2002, foreign tourists will probably be allowed to visit Odessa without having an Ukrainian visa. The mayor of Odessa Ruslan Bodelan claimed that the President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma had recently supported this initiative of Odessa local authorities. According to the information provided by the mayor, several Ukrainian ministries had already started preparing documents necessary to organize this unique experiment.

With Ukrainian authorities you never know. Some really good bills are in the work for 2 years. They are approved by government (Verkhovna Rada) but they are not signed by president. So, better to hope for better but expect worse.
I'm not that optimistic about that. Though of course it would be much better. But just think about it - HOW they can make Odessa area free of visa while for the rest of Ukraine it will be required? Will they make a border around Odessa? Being ukrainian and living/working all my life in Ukraine I'm not that optimistic really...
Let's keep the fingers crossed, Svit

Hello everyone. Yes that doesn't sound right. According to Ukraine embasey page Ukraine is already VISA not necessary country but only from a few countrys like Bulgaria and some of the former repulics. It also says on their site that the president issued a directive or something no longer requiring invites. What ever that was.

Now my question that I just put on the personnal thread. Does Odessa have a second city code I have a number for a girl with an Odessa address but her city code after the country code of 380 is 487. And most of the other girls with Odessa addresses have a 482 code. Any help out there.

Got your email Svitlane. I'll contact you if I need that type of help when I get there.

it is probably not Odessa city - but suburbs.

380487+number should be ok.

Take care!
