Greetings Beata,
Not that I am biased, but Budapest is a PEARL. No words can paint the picture of Budapest at night. This is a must experience
for everybody. Let us all meet there this summer and I will be your tour guide.

Yeah Ungaro, I'm sure Budapest is a pearl, and I'm the first who would like to go there. Just need to find out how much is your service, as a tour guide, cost ;}.

On my way to America, I spent couple days in Denmark, Copengagen. I lived at hotel in the center of city, and walked down the streets whole days and nights long. What a places, famous Tvoli Park. First thing that attracted my eyes, was architecture and red roofs. Every building is covered with red roof. That gives city something very unusuall and interesting, seems like world there is more colerful than anywhere. I saw there one musical group in front of the huge theatre
and fontains ,they were singing folk Spanish songs, just like in good old Spain. And after I came to America, I saw them in Seattle Center. Problably they were traveling around the world with their songs. I will never forgot that moment when I saw cool youg girl on the street with a huge-huge smile, and after she came closer, I realised that she was a man. Since there was'n anything like that in my Ukrainian city at those times, that moment was scarry for me.

The best place of my life I leaved in Ukraine. There is a little green iceland
on the lake, where I always use to come there with my father. Noisy willow-trees, and
water that was dazzled by the sunsets, always owe a special place in my heart with the fairytales of my father. I had great childhood.

My point of view about this, is that the most beautiful place on Earth is nature, espacially Ukrainian nature I always loved good architecture, I like Kyiv,Warsaw,Rome,Bratislava,Sevastopol, and Bila Cerkva. But this http://newua.virtualave.net/cart2.jpg is an example of what I like.

For me, the night sky in the Carpathian mountains! I am sure this can be repeated around the world, but I am used to continuous 'light-degredation', where you can't see deep into the sky because of lights from cities, etc., but I saw shooting stars, a 'sputnik' and the biggest star-show ever. Fabulous! Shame about the mossies!
