Dear Joyce,
Thank you for sharing your concerns. Please kindly note that not everyone has a chance to submit the application directly to the Embassy or Consular due to the geographic location. We have numerous clients, especially from the West Coast who were very grateful for our services. And of course we charge the extra fee, but still it is the lowest one comparing to other visa agencies. If one finds a better deal with the same level of services, we will be happy to price-match it. Kind regards, UAvisa.com |

Joyce,
It calls the opportunity cost. If money you make per hour times total time you are going to spend on hold, waiting for application form and finally follow all the procedures is greater than our service fees, simply follow the math. And on behalf of all our present and future clients, who you consider not to be smart enough, let us emphasize that THE BAD thing about being THE SMARTEST one is NOBODY else would be able to value this. Thank you, UAvisa.com |

If I understand your first paragraph correctly, you are saying "Time is money". True. A minimum of $100 buys your service. How much time are you saving me? It took less than 2 minutes to locate the web-site for the Consulate General of Ukraine. One click took me to the information I needed to process my visa. Whereas the form I needed was not downloadable to the printer (hopefully this will be corrected in future), an address was given for me to send my request. The form was sent to me immediately. I filled it out and sent it back with my passport, a couple of photos, a check for $75 and a return envelope, all certified (and yes, this did entail a trip to the post office). Within 6 days my passport was returned containing the visa. (By the way, they request 2 blank pages in the passport. I had only one, but this caused no problem.) What service do you provide that requires less from me, and is worth $100?
I suspect that the majority of your clients grew up under a system (either Soviet anti-travel or modern Ukrainian bureaucracy) wherein obtaining visas was/is a difficult and lengthly process. Here in the US things generally run much more smoothly, even when dealing with the Ukrainian Consulate. As an American, I have very low tolerance for those who capitalize on the lack of knowledge and unfounded fears of newcomers (your fellow countrymen!) to set themselves up as middlemen and fleece them of their money. What we can do for ourselves in money saved. For free, I offer this to anyone seeking a visa: the URL of the Consulate General of Ukraine is: http://www.brama.com/ua-consulate Click on "Visa Processing" and you have all the information you need. By cutting out the middleman you save time and money. |

Joyce: Why would you try to convince everybody against service that you never tried. Maybe it is better.
You said: "I suspect that the majority of your clients grew up under a system (either Soviet anti-travel or modern Ukrainian bureaucracy) wherein obtaining visas was/is a difficult and lengthly process." The thing is that they don't need visas to visit Ukraine, and UAvisa.com's services are for americans. My advice: Don't like it - don't use it. Best, Andrii.com |
