My Ukraine Visit plan

No one. I arrived in Odesa on Tuesday morning and I booked into this hotel recommeded in the lonley Planet. The probvlem was they only had expensive rooms available 168 Kyvna about 70AUD/Night. I also needed to register my visa. (A process that really serves no purpose that i can understand except to fraustrate tourists). Have not herd from Irinka and I hope to travel to Simerphol and Yalta overnight.

Sorry that I haven't written to you yet, but I got too excited in Odessa and forgot that internet and e-mail even existed! I'm in Odessa!!! Wooo Hooo!
I can not believe you paid that much for a hotel room! I'm staying right downtown, I pay only $20 US a night and the hotel is very safe and clean with securitu guards just about everywhere! Also for that price I am getting access to a beautiful swimming pool, sauna, and a fitness room!
Don't ever listen to the "Lonely Planet" they only want to rip you off. Also, I found a beautiful place right on the Black Sea and incredibly close to downtown for measely $10 US for 24 hours!!! It's a series of small cottages for people who love to lay on the beach all day and do nothing..
You can find anything in Odessa if you speak Russian.
I'm sorry they ripped you off, I'll write you more info on my hotel when I get back to Toronto. Right now, I'm running off to a nice pub right on Deribasovskaya St. to eat.

Hi. Sorry we missed each other. I don't think I have been ripped off just did not get a great bargin.

I love thii country very much and will try and stay an extra month. The people and their culture/history and facsinating. I have meet many great new friends. One in particular. I have not found or been confronted with any hostility or over bearing prostitutes/touts (Other than Taxi drivers).

I am now in Crimea. It is raining and I am toss up weather to return to Kiev and visit Yalta latter or push on and visit it now!!!.

Love to now the name of the place where you stayed for future refernence. I intend to learn a little russian and have decided to forgo Venice, Scaninavia and Czech Republic so I can spend more time here.
