Purchasing Railroad tickets in US

I read that you can purchase Tickets on Ukrainian railroad trains here in the USA. Does anyone know how you do this? We are going to the Ukraine in May and part of our journey will be by train. I would like to get the tickets here as I don't speak Ukrainian. Thanks.

Have you looked online? I once looked at tickes to the Trans-Siberian RR and IIRC they were available online.
We just get the tickets there at the station a few day early.

You "can" buy online, but easier to take a translator to Central Train station and buy them there. Also there are kiosks scatted about Kiev that you can book a ticket through.

If you tell me where you want to go, dates, etc. I can have someone research this for you and either buy the tickets or figure out best option for you...

Train travel is pretty easy even for non-Russian speaking person, but it is much less of a hassle with a guide to help you...I have a guy here in Kiev who could meet you, take you to train station and help you figure out tickets for a reasonable fee...email me if you are interested.
