Urgent question on Ukraine travel

I am an American in Turkey who wants to visit
friends in Dnipropetrovsk.

Is it possible to simply fly in and be given a 90 day tourist visa
on arrival at the airport? Or is it required to visit one of their
embassies abroad to get a visa before visiting? Are 90-day
visas given on arrival in the country? If so, what documents
are needed?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Spasiba!

Hello there!

Just go! Purchase your ticket and GO! :-) You DON'T NEED visa at all. Look here for more details

There is flight from Istanbul to Simferopol - you can find timetable here
You can get Dnepropetrovsk by train or car from Simferopol.
You're welcome to ask me more questions about your incoming trip to Ukraine.
Regards,
Eugene

That's correct! With a USA passport a visa isn't needed. At the airport they'll just stamp your passport and let you in w/o a visa.

Hello,

I recommend you to go to travel agency and make a visa in your country, it would be much easily
as I know it costs 90 $
but now the government made some changes concerning visa, so you need to check
Have a good trip.
While you are in Kyiv
you should not miss a fascination places ..

Turkey to Kiev

All you need is a valid passport....

Immigration stamps your Passport on arrival and that is good for 90 days....It is really that simple...unlike everything else in Ukraine
