Can't find your thread. No, I don't rent apartments anymore. That flat has been sold long ago, sorry. Hope you'll find a flat. Try to find one for not more than $30. Don't pay over the top.

That's a bit steep but maybe not bad for a very short term rental. IMO you can do better with decent quality.

Sorry , can't help you. The best way to have a $30 flat is if you have anybody from Odessa with local knowdledge. Then $30 or even less wouldn't be a problem. $50 tag comes from Internet or "friends" who are in this business. Well, if you have nothing better, then go for $50. It'a just a shame that people waste money like this. The hotel Odessa in Arcadia, for example, had even $20 rooms. Try to google their information. Valentina hotel had similar prices. Nothing fancy but clean and hot water.

Next time you go to eastern Europe, make some frineds online first. Esp. if it's FSU coulntries. Local knowledge is extremely important, not only to get aflat for a fair price, but not to get into trouble and not to be ripped off, to start with, by cab drivers at the airport.

Good luck in your search. Sorry I couldn't help you.
