The Lion's City is preparing to lavishly celebrate its 755th birthday on 7-9 May.

A vast Programme of events has been announced including:

* Gala Parade showcasing performance groups, marching bands, carriages with Angels, childrens dancing groups, Knights, sport societies, national societies, Street Theatre actors on stilts, bikers, etc
* Knights' tournment
* Concerts
* Legends of Old Lviv and Lviv through the Ages projects
* Cossack games
* Hutsul Festival
* Festival of Brass Bands
* Retro Car Show
* Fashion Show, etc, etc, etc

Dancing kids opened Lviv Day celebrations today


Their performance was followed by a Parade
However the highlight of the day was the arrival of RICHARD to Lviv who had a prive view of the parade from the balcony of his lavish apartment in Svobody Ave.

Beer cake - with cheese and fish - weighing 171.5 kgs ( standing for the year when the Brewery was set up- 1715).

The highlight of the Day, however, was a concert starring my favourite Lviv musicians - TARAS CHUBAI and PICARDIAN TERCIA
Police had no job today they were relaxing and enjoying themselves.
