Seaside trip for parents-in-law

My Ukrainian wife and I want to send my Ukrainian parents-in-law on a nice vacation to the sea since they've never been. They are in their late 50s. Can anyone recommend a good place to send them in Crimea? Thanks for any advice you can give us.

Vacation for parents-in-law in Crimea

Hello!
I live in Crimea, I am a tour guide and I am also in my late 50s. :-)
Whee to send your parents-in-law? first of all it depends from their characters and wishes. But I'd NOT offer them go to Yalta. Yalta will be crowded in a few weeks. Sudgest them stay in Sevastopol instead - nice city, full of history. if they would like to visit Yalta - it's only 1.5 hours away. Eastern Crimea could be nice for them too: a small town like Novi svet, Koktebel or biger Sudak.... But not Yalta and area if you want hem a quiet place. Feel free to ask me more details if you want.

Thanks for your reply! I won't know until July 1st whether they can go or not. We're trying to get my mother in law over to USA on a visa and her interview is on June 29th. If she is denied then we'll send them to the sea. Either way she'll get a nice vacation.

To a good son-in-law

You're good son-in-law! Unfortunatelly there are some people do not have a good relations with parents-in-law.
I wish your Mother-in-law luck on interview. Feel free to contact me in future if you need - I can arrange many things in Crimea for your parents-in-law.

Hello,

Yujdin makes a good point in the first post that you should carefully consider regarding their character. My wife is also Ukrainian and we encouraged my inlaws to come out with us for a meal on new years eve at a restaurant in Lugansk. They were like fish out or water having not been to a restaurant before. They didn't enjoy it and I felt bad afterwards for making them go.

Some people find it difficult to do the things we find natural as fun. See what they want to do first and go with that.

Hope this helps.
