Ivano-Frankivsk honoring OUN members.

November 17, 2010 Ivano-Frankivsk city, Ukraine, was honoring shot members of OUN. Near the monument to OUN members there was memorial service and a short honor assembly held. On this day in 1943 German occupants executed 27 young people, members of OUN (Organisation of Ukrainian Nationalists). Later executions continued in other areas of the city and region. Witnesses remember how bravely kept the Ukrainian Insurgents. "None of them asked for mercy, not one was crying, only asked mext generations to gain the Ukrainian state" - they were saying in one voice.

Поминальну молитву провели священнослужителі традиційних українських церков.

У цей день 1943 року німецькі окупанти розстріляли 27 молодих людей, членів ОУН. Пізніше розстріли продовжувались і у інших місцях міста та області.
