For me it's visiting friends and family. But seeing the historical places around the countrey places second. The Crimean Penn offers alot to see and do at Sevastopol, Bellakalava and Yalta. I haven't been to Odessa yet but that city and the rural areas inland are beautiful from pictures of friends. The Carpatian Mtns. are pretty nice too.
There is such a variety of sights and overall differences that to me everything in unique.

In addition to Irochka i'd like to add:

- Mariinsky park (great views)
- The Golden Gate
- Central Botanical garden (the "new" one, founded in the 1930s)
