Visa

You do not need to obtain a visa anymore if you are coming from the following countries: European Union, United States Of America, Japan, Canada, Switzerland and Liechtenstein. The stay without visa is up to 90 days. Before the trip - just to be sure - we however recommend contacting your local Ukrainian consulate.

Things to do before entering Ukraine:

1.Check that your passport is valid also for 3 months after the stay

2.All the necessary tickets and documents are ready also for the return trip

Vaccinations are not necessary when visiting Ukraine.

Also would u like to visit some more parts of Ukraine ?

I'm not 100% sure but IIRC the Chernybol area is still closed off..No tourist or other than gov't workers. But I am 100% sure that you do not need any visas just like Juliette said/

Cheers for the replys. AkMike, the area is still in a containment zone, however there are regular tours run by govenment approved peoples Click Here I would go to visit other places in Ukraine but were only going for a short weekend, and the tour will last all day. Will have a good look around Kiev though.

You won't be able to see much of Kyiv in a week end. (I personally see no need to go to Chernybol either! I don't want to glow in the dark! )

Make sure that you see the monestary "Lavara" and the WW2 museyum under the "Iron Maiden". Both are very close to each other. There are several art and history museums that are worth a visit too. Independence Square is a "must see".
