Thumbs up Best Ukraine Dentists

From Soviet Union time Ukraine was considered to be one of the top countries in dental services.
Since then almost two decades has passed, however, Ukraine is still one of the leading countries in the world in term of dental treatment.

In Ukraine there are several centers of dental treatment. Among them are Crimea, Kiev and Poltava. The top one is considered to be Poltava and in this city dental services and related to them research centers have been working for more than 70 years.

Poltava has been for more than 30 years a meeting place for dentists from all over the world as twice a year on the base of Poltava Dentist Clinic ‘Appoloniya’ and National Stomatological Academy of Poltava there have been held 5 day seminar on different issues related to dental treatment.

Poltava is famous all over the world for many things primarily those connected to literature, language, less to oil and gas, but there is a little information about Poltava dentists.
Though in fact the graduates from the National Stomatological Academy of Poltava work for leading dental clinics all over the world!

In fact nearly 50% of Stomatological Academy graduates are employed abroad, for the major part in Israel, USA, UAE and other countries that confirms their professional level.

However, another 50% stay in Ukraine, primarily in Poltava and Kiev, and continue their work here.

There is a very interesting fact that if we compare prices for dental services in US and Poltava the difference between them will be dramatic, however, the quality of services and material are nearly the same or even better in Poltava due to more than 70 years experience!

Therefore, those who are going to come to Ukraine for business/leisure purposes can use this opportunity to solve their problem with teeth for a very reasonable price!

I personally know the best Poltava dental clinics as well as doctors and will gladly assist in your dental treatment issues as well as fully arrange your trip to Poltava (accommodation, transportation etc.).

My experience of dentistry in Ukraine is quite the opposite... root canal treatment without anaesthetic and when I started screaming in pain and nearly passing ouy the dentist just carried on drilling, the quality of the work I and others have had done in Ukraine has been criticsed by more than 1 dentist in The UK.. and my wife who is a Russian/Ukrainian now has all her dentistry done here in UK... Ukraine may be cheaper but in this case you really do get what you pay for!!!!... your advert doesn`t tell all the facts!!!!!

Yes but you in the UK have a shortage of NHS dentists so that people sometimes even battle for a chance to pay fo care - register with private dentitsts!!
Many private dentists in Ukraine are high quality only too expensive by our standards - I know several British and Canadian visitors who came specially to Lviv for treatment, although Budapest is more attractive for British and frequented by them - they prefer to go to Hungary for cosmetic surgery, dentistry, etc

for NHS dentists it depends where you are although they getting easier to find.. in Bristol I have had no problem registering and the treatment has been much better than Ukraine.. there is no problem finding a private dentist and there are various insurance schemes to help pay for treatment and again geneally better treatment an more modern equipment than Ukraine.. I would rather have good treatment and pay a little bit more....

Dear Sir,

Your experience is a subjective approach to these issues as it is based only on your personal experience. I do not know what dentist’s services you used. Perhaps you wanted to save money and used someone who is an amateur. You also did not mention in what city you had the treatment.

In fact what you wrote is just an emotional yawl of a small child who was hurt and did not like it.
I tell you about the facts which concerns in particular Poltava city, Poltava dentists and I have a lot of Americans who had their dental treatment here in Poltava and can give good recommendations! Also I have friends from U.S. and Israel who employ Poltava dentists to their countries. And its a fact!

Regarding bad dentists you can find them everywhere in the world. For ex., I have a friend of mine who have recently graduated from London School of Economics and while he’s studying he had problems with teeth. Believe me or nor but he had big problems with UK dentists when he was treated there and was operated twice!

First time the dentist, as it later appeared, was a student and that’s why operation went bad!
Second time ev. went smooth!

All in all you should use professional to have ev. done well and it does not matter which country you are in!

My comments are not those of a child and not just personal experiences... I am 54!!!... I have been to more than 1 dentist in Mariupol and so has my wife and other family members.. all dentists were "fully" qualified and had been in practise for a while and were definitley not students... I have to say I doubt that, as you say, many US citizens travel to Poltava for dental treatment.. the cost of flights accomodation and visas would make the cost unreasonable compared to the cost of treatment in US which most people would have medical insurance for. as you offer to help people find a dentist in Poltava I suspect you are some sort of agent and would recieve some remuneration for your services.. and what would make Poltavata so much better than other Ukrainian dentists????

Dear John,

If you were objective and less emotional you would find all anwsers to your questions in my previous posts! But specially for you I will repeat once again:

1. Poltava is an international dental center. Twice a year dentists from all over the world come here for seminars: some of those come to gain new knowledlge, some to earn money for reading seminars, other to select employees to their countries. Also in Poltava there is an international dental faculty where several thousands of students from all over the world take their study and research;
2. Mariupol is an industrial city and has been never known as dental center;
3. As you know a lot of U.S. citizens as well as Europeans come to Ukraine for romance, sex and business. In case of Poltava it is mostly romance and when they are here on that purpose they use this opportunity to treat their teeth.
4. I am not a dental agent and have never been and I am the manager of tourist agency welcome-to-poltava.com.ua and offer only accommodation services. If you doubt my sincerety you can visit this site and read references of our clients!
I think I have answered all your questions, but if you still doubt it, you can ask any dentist in Mariupol about Poltava and Appoloniya dental clinic and he/she will confirm my words for sure!
