Does anybody know if i can stay for the full 6 months or must I exit the country after 90 days? Can I then go back in on the same day?
In my right mind you should be issued a multiple entry Visa if you are staying for that long.

I think that the introduction of 90 day rule makes Ukraine similar to the EU countries where a similar rule operates. Moreover, it looks to me that the visa regime in Ukraine is rather liberal because an EU (Swiss or US) national can travel visa-free for 90 days. The whole idea of toughing these rules was to ensure that people do not break the 90 day rule by shuttling back and forth

I was told but I HAVE NOT verified it yet,... They have returned to the 180 day rule. Hopefully this is correct.
I just returned from a 45 day stay.

Foreighners can stay in Ukraine more than 3 months, but must to have a special registration (from special police department). And must have a reasons for this (job, family, ect).

But if not - you can went out the Ukraine to any country (Russia, Moldova, Belarus or any) and back to Ukraine. Possible, same day. But you must have a stamp about in-out moving in your passport.
