Soccer is the best sport. I love it, although its easy in Canada because its not as popular. Dynamo Kiev is good, hey, well, not now, they were when Rebrov and Shevchenko played. |

Being a fairly compeditive person, I enjoy watching many sports - having taken part in some (badminton, Squash, Cycling etc.,) but for sheer emotional, nerve tingling excitement, NOTHING comes close to motor-racing. The noise, ever-present aspects of danger and man committed to pushing his vehicle to the limit in every degree - man it's fantastic.
It can become a bit technical and even be perceived to be 'boring' by some (especially Grand-prix) but believe me, when you have had the opportunity of learning from professionals and putting some of the tricks of the trade into practice (on track ...and off!!!) then one gets to realise just how good the BIG BOY's are!! Thanks. I play some tennis cuz i'm good, but soccer is "where its at", lol, I played for Karpaty Lviv Underleague when I was 11-12, for a year, went to a soccer school, even met Oleg Lyzchny, he once played for Lviv, then Kiev, now Arsenal. good guy. also, I travelled to Oddesa with my club and met Leonenko, in 96'. U must remember him vs Spartak Moscov, 96' 3-2 Kiev victory, OH MAN!! lol. also played 7 months in Amsterdam minor indoor league, "Cicero FC" club.
but then I emigrated here, Calgary, Canada. joined a club as fast as I could and I had a german guy on my team at defence, we won div. 1 gold in Edmonton. my dad thought the game here was a joke. but its gotten better. more competative. well, goodbye 4 now. |
