Does anyone know Shevchenko's goal scoring record for the Ukraine?

At the moment, I think Henry is the best striker in Europe but Shevchenko was the best a few seasons ago, and it is still one of the best. I am from Wales and I saw him torment us in Cardiff in the World Cup qualifying game.

Personally I think Henry and Shevchenko together would make the best strike force in Europe. Does anyone agree or disagree?

Yes I am sure you are right. In general, Wenger tends to buy younger players rather than older ones. The older ones he buys tend to be relatively cheap, like Kanu was. I don't think he would ever pay the sort of money that AC or Sheva would want.

You were lucky to see the CL semi-final live. I am glad that he managed to win the CL while at Milan, because he carried that side for a few seasons when they were not creating very much, but he didn't have much show for it except a lot of cash in the bank. Especially after the way he was targeted by hit-man Mafioso - sorry I mean Matarazzi! ;-) How did Matarazzi not get sent off? Anyway as I typed this I was watching the FA Cup and Giggs was just fouled in the box and won a penalty. Perhaps when he is too old for serie A, Matarazzi can have a career in South London at Milwall!!!!
