The first fight was stopped on a technical knock-out
Vitali Klitschko says the reason Lennox Lewis is on the verge of retirement is because he is too scared for a rematch between the two.

Klitschko is preparing to face Kirk Johnson on Saturday and the winner will be the mandatory challenger to Lewis.

The Ukrainian led on the scorecard of all three judges when he faced Lewis in June but was stopped because of bad cuts to his face.

"I thought I could beat Lewis before our fight in June," said Klitschko. "Afterwards I was 100% sure."

Lewis has so far refused a rematch and has hinted that he may not fight again.

"I want part two, and everyone wants to see part two...When will that be? No-one knows," added Klitschko.

"If Lewis does not fight again, it will mean he is retiring because of me."

"The fight on Saturday is very important to me because it will mean I can fight for the championship again and that is my dream.

"I also want to show everyone that I can beat Lewis."

Klitschko is right

Tyson ran scared of Lewis for years, and Lewis' career suffered from Don King protecting his meal-ticket, now Lewis is up to the same tricks.
He should be ordered to give Klitschko another shot or be stripped of title.

Hmmm

The fight coming up for Klitch has me worried because it's winning the fight before the title fight that has haunted many a heavyweight fighter.
Klitch has never lost a fight on a scorecard but as you know he's been cut badly and also hurt his shoulder. Both fights had him winning and probably would have him as the champion as we speak.
This fight means he's got to be totally concentrated and not slip up. One punch or one injury and it's all over for him until probably 2006.
Gerry Cooney had this same bad luck as well as many upon many heavyweights.
Hopefully he will win this fight and end it soon as to avoid injury.

Hannia is on a distinguished road
I am not sure that the $$$ will let Klitscko fight Lewis. They can't afford a win by Klitscko. He doesn't have the following. There is a rumor that a step aside is being negotiated between Klitscko and Lewis camps. We might just be seeing a Tyson-Lewis card next.
