In the fall, I can go to the local high school here in the US and watch volleyball, boys or girls teams. Then in December, basketball starts, and I like to watch them play in the high school gymnasiums. Also, I like to watch the college women and men play. I like the women better because they play a cleaner game of basketball (and the tickets are cheaper). There are several universities around here and they all have good teams. In the summer they have the WNBA and in the winter the NBA (if you want to pay $70 for a ticket)
Is there anything like that in the Ukraine? Do the high schools or equivalent play basketball or volleyball? Do the colleges? I will even watch soccer (football) if there's nothing else, but they don't play that in December, do they?
