I went to Man U v Newcastle saturday, a friend offered me a ticket and I thought they would lose, but they won 5-3
But tonight I'm in shock, 0-1 down in Rome after 4 minutes and we win 3-1 Yeeeaaahh-hey!!!!!!
Our Ukrainian defender Oleg Luzhniy had a brilliant game and Henry scored a hat-trick.
Just a week and a half to go until we are at Man U, last year it was easy but I think they may put up a fight this time around.

well done gunners !
you gave a very good lesson to the spoiled italians..
it's really a good start for arsenal, now you have got the advantage..on the other hand valecia-ajax draw is surprise for me..it seems that ajax is gonna force the group as well..we had betting here with the brits we all put some money and it was a draw..i got newcastle and ac milan..altough i don't like both of them i'll have support them for the sake of the big final money :lol ..a friend of mine here,he is from coventry and a real football maniac says hello to you..and wanted me to tell u : boring, boring arsenal.. i guess u got the message ??
take care

It's good that you got Milan, I think they are the strongest in Europe at the moment, twice beating Bayern, beating Real, Inter, 4-0 in La Coruna, and having Sheva, Rui Costa, Rivaldo, Kaladze, Nesta, Inzaghi etc.
I've always liked Milan but now they worry me

I see you won away in Ankara
Pos. Team Pld W D L Pts
1Galatasaray 15 10 3 2 33
2Fenerbahçe 14 9 4 1 31
3Besiktas 13 9 4 0 31

It looks very tight between the 3 Stamboul clubs. I've always wondered, does Istanbulspor have many supporters? We never hear much about them.

Say hi to your Coventry friend, he is right we are boring, we've scored in 55 league games in a row (all-time English record) so we are becoming predictable
Still, we must score again next saturday, we have a little trip to Manchester United

hello guys
today it's big derby here..galatasaray-besiktas ! we're the home team and surely the visitors will be welcomed it's gonna be quite an interesting game in many ways cuz first of all it's the challenge between the coaches..fatih terim, the emperor,is back home after ac milan as u know and on the other hand lucescu is our former coach who was really a good guy and was sent off although he got the title last season for the sake of terim..and the goalkeepers of both team are the national players of columbia, mondragon and cordoba so that will be another challenge between them..and we'r at the top now and they are in the 2nd place..well,it's the last derby of 2002 in turkey and hope it's gonna be a victory for us
and the revenge of dinamo kiev may be taken as well
gunner, although the turkish football federation was founded in 1920s the premier leauge has been played since late 50s..and only 4 teams have been able to get the title so far..galatasaray(15),fenerbahce(14),besiktas(10) and trabzonspor(6)..the first three teams are istanbul teams as u know but trabzon is a city in the black sea region and they became a legend during 70s..now they r suffering..on the other hand surely there are many other istanbul teams ,like istanbulspor is one of them, they neither have any big and important successes nor many supporters..
if u r still planning to come to istanbul for turkey-england game, let me know..we can arrange sth take care of urselves,u football maniacs

Oh no! Arsenal, Gala, Forest lost, even my own town Luton got dumped out of the cup 3-0, and Tottenham won BAD weekend!
I don't know about that Beckham internet rumour Forest, what happened? Was someone posting a hoax story that he could use his left foot?
Oh well, we've got Valencia tuesday, but if we can't even beat the nancy-boys of Man U I don't have much confidence against the Spanish Champions.
Is it decided yet to play the England game in Istanbul Giga?
I'll be there, unless I get lost in Macedonia
