Exclamation

A late goal by Bela Koplarovic left Manchester United's Champions League qualifying campaign hanging in the balance as Zalaegerszeg earned a famous victory in Budapest.

Sir Alex Ferguson's men were forced to pay for a host of missed chances and for failing to raise their game sufficiently against their lesser-known Hungarian opponents.

Again, individual errors were to blame - with Phil Neville the main culprit - as substitute Koplarovic ran into the United area unmarked to apply the simplest of finishes to Tamas Szamos' low cross.

The 90th-minute goal sent Zalaegerszeg fans into raptures, while United players were left to reflect on another poor performance.

Yeeeeaaah-HEY!!!!!! It was live on BBC, best comedy in years, good ol' Phil! It's cheered up the whole of England but probably caused deep depression in China, Japan etc

Q.How many Man U fans does it take to change a light bulb?
A.None. As soon as it starts to fail they **** off to support another bulb.

They'll still get through though, the referee'll probably score a couple for them in the 2nd leg.

Man U win 5-0

Oh well never mind, interesting that the united lads are still diving around like nancies to get their opponents sent off, even though they're 3-0 up!
Still, good luck to Shakhtyor & Dynamo tonight.

Dynamo are through, with Man Utd, to the Champions League proper which is 8 mini-leagues of four teams. Shakhtyor Donetsk are still playing extra-time in Belgium.
The draw is Thursday 3pm (London Time)
Awaiting them are Real Madrid, Barca, Valencia, la Coruna, Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle, Bayern Munich, B Dortmund, B Leverkeusen, Roma, Inter, AC Milan, Juventus, Spartak Moscow, Lokomotiv Moscow, and a few others.
I think Shakhtyor's match has gone to penalties..COME O-O-O-O-N!!!
