Today was the opening of the paraolympics in Vancouver. The parade of athletes was very impressive and the joy on their faces was wonderful. I hope they enjoy their time in Canada and go home with many wonderful memories and new friends. I thought the Ukranian team was impressive and hope they can take home many medals. In any case I am sure they will do their country proud.

Our team has won 2 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals ! Not bad for the beginning , isn’t it ? Go Ukraine !

Ukrainian team is doing great in Vancouver. Currently it is the 2nd place in total # of gained medals. Incredible champions!

Congratulations Ukraine on winning so many medals by outstanding athletes. I just wish there had been more t.v. coverage.
