Max,

Well, as usuall Klitchko got his eye beat (that always happends). I don't know. Klitchko got close to him a lot. Usually the brothers keep a distance. At the end of 10th round it was evident that it was over.

P.S. Thompson hasn't lost a fight in like 9 years I think. He said he cried.

Stepan,

our TV moderators spoke about Thompson very warm. They only said he never had fights with such strong boxers as Klitchko. So yes, Tompson really came close but this is because Klitchko wasn't afraid of him. I think it was part of the show.

Lisa, thank you for the link. The videos must show the Ukrainian missed many good hits but you know champions solve everything in champion rounds. I remember Thompson fell in 10th round because of tiredness. And so the end was predictable.

I just remembered the clip Thompson had before fight. There was tiger and Thompson said "I'm hungry". I hope he got ehough.

Max,

I saw a pic of Thompson with his knucles up Klitschko's chin, caption "Thompson tests out Klitschko's chin before the fight". Funny, i think thats exactly the way the fight ended (except Klitschko was the one testing).

Max, I think your right about them keeping the fight. People pay good money for that stuff and they dont really want a 4 round fight.

The difference between Thompson and Klitchko is last one is the double World champion and he was the champion in different versions for few last years. And Thompsom is just good professional boxer. It was big jump for him, not for Klitchko.

I think it has to be that way.

Next fight for championship likely will be with Russian boxer Povetkin. I guess we will see something similar with Ibragimov fight, boring chess party. Klitchko will run on disctance and care about every move.
