Talking

Sorry, I have no idea where you are comeing from... if you are so into your religion then maybe you are right, leave, don't communicate with non-Mormon people... they may show you that your beliefs are nothing, give you the ground to question certain things you took for granted...
BE scared if you cannot face that there are other views... and it might be the case that your belief if not rihgt at all.
My friend, on the other hand, heard all the arguments from me that I had at a time, tried to find answers, and he did, but the answers were not good enough for me! At the end of the day, we decided that it is better not to talk about religion, since we have rather contrary views... so I am not digging out more and more argumets for him, I simply do not discuss it with him... I do it here with you, because it is not personal for me, I don't even care if you are 19 or 91, all is irrelevant, here you are given a chance to learn something new, most likely through the argument!

So, go, find answers, come back and stand up for your religion that is all perfect and is very close to your heart, or, in case if you cannot find answers... think it all over, maybe you do not relly beliave what you have been told when you were a kid... maybe, balindly taking things you are told for true is not the way mature people should live...

It is all up to you darling... bye bye

Hi Ashley,

I am really glad you came to this site. I have already answered you - I have explained why I cannot accept SOME of your views, but I totally accept that your Mormon religion is probably the most major part of your life - as my (totally) Bible-based christianity is everything to me.

I was a bit surprised when I hit this site 2 1/2 years ago, due to the mass of aggro that suddenly came my way, but you learn to find out who is genuine - who is just pulling your tail and who you can relate to and have a decent discussion with.

I would welcome you staying.

kind regards,
Andrew

PS: I am in hospital for the next 2 days and facing the biggest test of my life. I have complete peace of mind and spirit and it is times like this that our God is our Rock and Salvation.

Hi Ashley!!!

Hi,

This board is a sustitute for a life in many cases for a lot of the people here so don't consider them to have in any weight in your wonderful life.
With some exceptions the goal here for most of these rejects is to try to shatter your views and conform to there view. With close examination you will see they are actually the weak one's looking for comfort in destruction of your views...lol
After coming here for four years I see this place as 90% amusement and 3% intelligence. The other 7% is one that is still in question...lol

"GO UTAH"

Stats looks good to me... only one thing... are you really that "intelligent" (not to offend you) that it took you four years to figure out that discussion boards are mainly not for intelligence test but rather for fun?
GO CameoJoe, GO GO GO GO!

Mormons? Ukranian Orthodox? or Atheist?

this letter is to everyone who thinks he has the right religion, and also to the people who think there is no God. God is real! People are not. instead of thinking about what your religion says to do, why not spend hours and hours every day thinking about what God wants you to do. If you go to church, fine. Be nice to the people you meet there, but remember, people always make mistakes. To the atheists, I know you believe in God, but you're trying to get people to think for themselves instead of just following their religion. Someone once said, there is not a more superstitious person, than the atheist.

I was a Ukrainian Orthodox for years but never truly believed in god... I still don't.
It is a personal descision, nothing more, nothing less.

Irina
