We should be talking about this over a Pint of Ale. Yeap we seem to be reasonable people who disagree on something as major as spirituality.

Andrew, I have told you before that I live a Spiritually fulfilled life. My fulfilment comes from the REAL world. Family, friends, hobbies, jobs, nature, arts. Real things
with spiriual meanings. I regret that I cannot evail myself of the fellowship that a church or similar organization would offer. The reason being is that in addition to the fellowship I would have to participate in a WOO-DOO like
ritual. A ritual that is offensive, delusional, counter productive and is dumbing down. Basically it takes people away from reality with various degrees of severety. I offer as examples to you the Terrorist of 9/11/01 and the starving deaths of two young children and the grandmother near Kiew. Prayer is a delusionary concept. It is counter productive because it keeps people from taking real action and accepting the responsibility for their actions. Both of you hold faith seperate from the results that it produces.
No deal. Regardles of any personal experiences, call it miracles ( no such thing), Religion, Faith has been a CURSE on HUMANITY in general. I challenge you to give me any examples where FAITH has had a positive end result.

No evidence to support any of the foundation you base your Faith and or LIVES. Archiological evidence fails to support any of the teachings of the BIBLE. Yes they have found ruins of cities named in the BIBLE, but nothing to support
the basic story of the BIBLE. That being GOD, JESUS, EXODUS,
NOAH ARK, etc, etc. Nothing. Let me use humor for a minute.
They dug up the SINAI from one end to the other. They have found nothing to support the EXODUS story. Folks, you can not put that many Jews in one place for Fourty Years without
somebody opening up a Jewelry Store. They have found no Jewelry Stores. End of the Exodus Myth. Hehehe.

Further, Science is making gains on daily basis. NASA has a camera taking picture of the remaining radiation from the Big Bang. On any night, if you go to an Observatory you can see New Stars being born and the demise of others. You can hold fossils in your own hand that are much older that your faith wants to admit. You folks are setting yourself up for a terrible crises of faith. Science will get you.

Tyssian, you asked me why I am here? I am here because I care. Religion induced dementia can be and should be prevented.

I have read in the paper that in many Muslim countries, Christians are badly mistreated or killed. It is also illegal in many Muslim countries to believe in Christianity.

Remember - this is the 'religious' thread and I am coming from a point of view of God's love to all.

I have a sister who maintains contact with small self-help groups of christians in the Middle East- but must keep everything 'nameless' to protect the innocent.

I have a friend working in North Africa, but when we communicate - it must be done in code!!

Now transport that situation to USA / England / etc. What kind of trouble would there be if the situations were reversed.??

If ever there was 'one rule for one and a different rule for the others' - this is it.

Dear Ms. Langtry,

It is with reluctance that I answer you. A lot of people do not know how far you and I go back on this board. A lot of people do not know how I admired Lilly Nomad. A lot of people do not know how I was infatuated with Lilly Nomad. Not in a physical sence, but in a spiritual sence. Lilly Langtry grew out of this infatuation. If you knew the story of Judge Bean and Lilly Langtry, you would know what I mean.

Unfortunately, you killed Lilly Nomad as far as I am concerned. I am not mad for what you have done, but I am very sad.

So here we are, me talking to the Ms. Lilly Langtry. Your remarks about the Christians in some Muslim country just proves that Religion leads people away from reality.

The behaivor of the Muslims towards the Christians is only slightly worst than the behaivor of the Christians towards other faiths. We will not go back to the crusades, let us just examine recent history.

1. The Christians are on record in saying that GOD does not listen to the prayer of the JEWS.

2. The Christians are on record in saying that Muslims, Hindus, Buddhist, Jews and people of other faiths, can not go to heaven, unless they accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Indirectly, saying that their current faith renders them as sub human, devil worshippers.

3. The Christians are on record in saying that the TRAGEDY of 9/11/01 is a result of us not being Good Little Christians.

4. The Christians violate the Laws on seperation of State and Church Constantly. While they preach Love and Understanding, they spread hatred towards those who are different or who think different.

I am convinced that any and all religions lead people away from reality. Those who believe in any religion are unable to Love and Respect and Cherish other fellow human beings to a full extent. Their love for you and I, is deluted by their love for mythical characters. This is what allows them to be so hateful towards other humans. History is full of hateful acts by people of one faith or another.

What have I done to kill LillyNomad, Bill? It is ridiculous fighting like this. I have always respected you and yes, we go back a long way, so why the, oh forget it. I give up.


It is ironic that many Muslim nations selectively call for Israel to observe various United Nations resolutions on Palestine, but betray fundamental UN declarations that they themselves have signed...the guarantee of religious freedom and the rights of minorities to practice their faith in safety.

Christians are murdered and persecuted in Pakistan, Indonesia, Iran and Saudia Arabia by Islamic militents and fanatics. The raids on christian villages leave behind a hellish legacy of death and destruction.
