As the cleansin' of me the NZman from the other boards is in ful swing I has posted the Fatwa watch on here.

nova3 dude & the morocco.com posse care to comment on this lovin' bit action

Islamic group attacks fatwa ruling
An extreme Islamic group in Bangladesh has denounced two high court judges as apostates for delivering a landmark verdict against the the use of religious edicts or fatwas.
The Islamic Unity Alliance , led by Fazlul Huq Amini, threatened to launch a nationwide campaign against the verdict handed down on Monday, which outlawed any fatwa or legal opinion not given by a court.
In rural Bangladesh, Muslim clerics frequently issue fatwas, based on Islamic Sharia law, on issues such as marriage and divorce.
But human-rights groups argue that the edicts are frequently prejudicial to women, and they largely welcomed the high-court decision. Bangladesh has a secular legal system it inherited from British rule.
Policeman killed in Bangledeshi violence
Muslim activists in the Bangladeshi capital, Dhaka, have killed a policeman in violent protests over a High Court ruling last month banning religious edicts, or fatwas.
Officials say the policeman's body was found inside a mosque.
At least forty people were arrested in clashes between Muslim activists and police.
A strike call by Muslim groups failed to prevent thousands of Bangladeshis who support the High Court ruling from attending a rally in Dhaka. The march was organised by several non-governmental organisations.

Bangladeshi policeman lynched
Muslim activists have rejected the ban on fatwas
By Zubair Ahmed in Dhaka

Activists belonging to radical Muslim groups have lynched a policeman during violence in the Bangladeshi capital, Dhaka.
The violence marred the groups' call for a strike against a ban on religious edicts, or fatwas.
Dhaka police say they have arrested at least 40 people who are thought to be involved in the violence.
The authorities say that a group of Muslim activists dragged a policeman to a mosque where he was killed.
Police have now recovered the constable's body and cordoned off the area.
Death threat
It is thought that at least some of the violence threatened by Islamic groups here is just a desperate attempt to regain control.
On Friday, some of the more radical groups issued what they called a death threat against the two High Court Judges who, in a landmark judgement last month, ruled that any edict not passed by the courts was illegal.
The High Court ruling was welcomed by all the mainstream political parties and human rights organisations, but was angrily rejected by the Islamists IdRiSsI dude & the Morocco.com posse who have since organised several nationwide protests against the judgement.
Now some Islamic groups are demanding that NGOs themselves be banned, saying that they are a negative influence on Bangladeshi society and culture and are especially bad for women.

All of this from the BBC, the Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Sikh, western capitalist, communist propaganda machine Shockin or wot.

Silence is a killer.

Talking More Islamic In-Humanity

All from the BBC

Human rights group accuses Somali court
A human rights group in Somalia has accused an Islamic court in the capital, Mogadishu, of holding a large number of prisoners in appalling conditions.
The group the Dr Ismail Jumale Human Rights Organisation said two-hundred-and-forty-five people had been crammed into just seven prison cells.
It said some of those detained had been tortured, including a fourteen-year-old boy, while others had been held for more than two years without a court appearance.
The prison is run by a group of Islamic men led by Sheikh Hassan Aynte, who is a member of the transitional parliament.

Pakistani human rights report slams clerics
A report by an independent human rights group in Pakistan has accused the government of being a silent spectator to the rise in religious extremism.
The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan has blamed Islamic extremists for an upsurge in violence against religious minorities and women.
According to its annual report, women in rural Pakistan are often killed by relatives for bringing shame on their families, known as 'honour killings' -- which can mean a woman sitting next to a man who is not a relation.
The report said the government was colluding with extremists by not taking action. It accused clerics of spewing vicious hatred which it said had resulted in harassment and murder.

Too many fatwas in Pakistan

The Human Rights Commission in Pakistan has criticised the indiscriminate use of fatwas -- religious edicts -- by Islamic leaders, saying it's a growing and dangerous tendency.
The Commission says a new law should be passed banning those fatwas which call for sentences of death; it says existing legislation, which makes incitement to violence and murder an offence, is not being applied to muslim clerics issuing such edicts.
The group specifically mentioned a fatwa issued against a journalist in Peshawar, who'd written a feature about child abuse, and another against members of parliament who'd urged Pakistan to sign the international nuclear test ban treaty.

Pakistan to probe Christian killings
Islamic Terrorists are blamed for the attack which killed 18
The government of Pakistan has announced a thorough investigation into the killing of 18 people at a Christian church in the eastern town of Bahawalpur.
Police and army reinforcements have been patrolling the town's streets of Bahawalpur ever since the massacre.
Police said dozens more were seriously injured when unidentified masked gunmen on motorcycles opened fire indiscriminately on a Christian congregation at prayer on Sunday morning.
No-one has so far said they carried out the attack, but officials said members of a banned Islamic group were under suspicion.
The killings have brought condemnation from the spiritual leaders of the Roman Catholic and Anglican churches, as well as Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf, who blamed trained terrorists.
Pope John Paul called the killings a tragic act of intolerance.
The Archbishop of Canterbury, George Carey, referred to the US military campaign in neighbouring Afghanistan, and said everyone should recognise it was not a conflict between Christianity and Islam.
Witnesses say the gunmen shouted "Allah-u-Akbar" and "Graveyard of Christians - Pakistan and Afghanistan", before opening fire.
No mercy
The attack took place during a service attended by more than 100 people at a Roman Catholic church in the town of Bahawalpur, about 100 kilometres (60 miles) south of the city of Multan, in Punjab province.
One witness said six bearded men on three motorcycles rode up to Saint Dominic's Church and pulled out AK-47 assault rifles, shooting a police guard before entering the packed church.
"They were carrying bags and when they came in they took out guns," the witness told Reuters news agency.
Survivors say the gunmen locked the doors and sprayed fire at the Protestant congregation who were using the church at the time, riddling the walls with bullet holes.
Terrified worshippers are said to have scrambled for cover, some taking shelter in a small room behind the altar, but most were hit.
Pleas for mercy were ignored, witnesses said.
Christians tense
Sunday's shooting, police say, is the first such attack on Christians in the region, which is near the border with India.
Some Christian neighbourhoods had, however, already stepped their security.
The BBC's Susannah Price in Islamabad says there have been fears among the Christian community of a possible retaliation by Islamic extremists following the US strikes on neighbouring Afghanistan.
Christians make up about 1% of Pakistan's 120 million population.
In 1997, Muslim rioters in southern Punjab burned and looted hundreds of Christians' homes and ransacked 13 churches and a school, accusing some Christians of committing blasphemy against the Prophet Mohammed.

Mohsaman

That's not the question here, it never has been. Find the defence for the actions of Israel.

You have to accept the deeds of Muslims, as Nath says get your house in order.

Then and only then can we move forward.

Take care

Vlas.

Getting our own house in order is definitely an issue and I accept it. We do have problems , but it is in NO way similar to what you guys see our problems as. What peoplesay about Muslim societies is not the way we live. Trust me I have lived in Iran for years. I know!!!

But a point that I have is that how can we get the world's view toa point where all terror done against us is not seen as self defense and all defense that we have is not seen as terror ???
