Kazanova,
You are descending lower and lower on my opinion scale of human beings. Isn't it about time you either put up, or shut up? Below is the beginning of a THEMATIC EXEGESIS of the Qur'an. Lets see what you know. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Speaking about the Qur'an, Amir al-Mu'minin 'Ali (A) says: "…That (light) is the Qur'an. Try to make it speak, it will never speak, though I will inform you about it. Indeed, it contains the knowledge of the future and the reports of the past, the cure for your ills and the system of (organising) your affairs." (Nahj al-balaghah, Khutbah 158) The expression istintaq used by 'Ali, the son of the Qur'an, is the most splendid term describing the function of thematic tafsir as a dialogue with the Qur'an, posing the problems of a particular subject to it with the purpose of eliciting Qur'anic replies to them. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Demonstrate to me that you comprehend "istintag", and that you are capable of employing "thematic tafsir". I have no interest in the analytical approach as is commonly attempted by Muslims. They use it as a means of hiding their lack of understanding of Islam. Make your knowledge of the Qur'an speak to me through its thematic essence, and do not feed me useless and meaningless verbiage. Do try to be coherent. -Nonson- |

Kazanova,
As an effort to control your shotgun approach I suggest tafsir of the following: Alif, Lam, Mim. This Book is not to be doubted. It is a guide for the righteous, who have faith in the unseen and are steadfast in prayer; who bestow in charity a part of what We have given them; who trust what has been revealed to you and to others before you, and firmly believe in the life to come. These are rightly guided by their Lord; these shall surely triumph Again, Try being coherent. -Nonson- |
