The Lord is the writer of the constitution and He knows whom to punish. Some times you see punishment of innocent person. You think that the injustice is ruling. In the kingdom of God only the justice is the ruler by the grace of God. When the innocent is punished, the punishment was of some bad deed done by him previously and the date of the punishment coincided with the present incident accidentally. |

I am very much anxious to get a child and good health?
You are getting everything according to your present deeds and also the past deeds. The Lord has arranged the cycles of your births. In each cycle happiness and misery are alternatively arranged leaving the sequence of good and bad deeds. Even if you have done two sins subsequently the fruits of the two sins are not given to you subsequently. The result of a good deed is penetrated in between these two sins. Like this the Lord has arranged all your life cycles at present and in the future. If you are pestering Him, He will bring the result of good deed from the future cycle to the present cycle as a pre-matured fixed deposit with reduced value. By such interference your future life cycles will be filled with misery. Then you will scold the Lord crying “Oh! Lord you have given me misery from birth to death”. You don’t remember your foolish interference in the past birth. The other way is that the Lord in human form should transfer your sin on Him and should suffer for your sake. This path is possible only when you don’t aspire for this path and worship the Lord in human form by sacrificing all your bonds of the world. This is possible only for a true devotee who never wishes that the Lord should suffer for his or her sake. Such true devotee will be worshipping the Lord without aspiring anything in return. One has to understand the theory of Karma and the devotion towards Lord. The Lord suffers for the sins of His true devotees only who are really serving the Lord in practice by doing Karma Sanyasa (Sacrifice of work) and Karma Phala Tyaga (Sacrifice of the fruit of work) in His mission without aspiring anything in return. In such service even an Iota of desire should not be present even in any biological cell of the human being. This is called ‘NISHKAMA KARMA YOGA’ AS EMPHASIZED IN GITA. |

Meaning of Pravrutti (Path of Justice)
In this, people desire the welfare of their body and family. They love their bodies and their families only. Their real love is not on the God but only on their body and family. When that welfare is disturbed and when it is not possible to rectify it by worldly means, then only they look at God. When you get fever and it is not subsided by the medicines you used, then you are approaching a doctor. Thus God is only an instrument to achieve the welfare of their body and family. They pretend real love on God, which is not real. When you go to the doctor you respect him too much. That respect is not real. That respect is only apparent and the aim of that respect is only that he will cure carefully your disease. These people do not bother about tomorrow. They don’t bother about the hell after death and about the next birth. Their aim is only the temporary happiness confined to this birth only. They worship God for this purpose, which is not true love at all. God also acts accordingly. He postpones all your bad results to the next births like pro-notes with increased interest. He brings the good results from future births with reduced values like the pre-matured deposits. The Lord will not save these people in the hell. They will go to the heaven and when the results of their good deeds are finished, they are thrown back to the earth. In the future births, which are full of difficulties only, these people weep scolding the Lord. But the Lord keeps silent, because He acted according to their prayers only in the previous birth. In this field one can worship the Lord with single face, who is Vishnu, the embodiment of Sattvam quality. With this quality God will help you when you worship. But this quality always requires justice and logic. Therefore, within the rules of the cycle of justice God helps you. He will never harm you for your worship. In this field God in human form is not necessary. God will protect the justice by His power. In this field the aim of the people is not God. Their aim is only protection of justice and their families. Lord Krishna did not fight directly in the war because in this field His power is sufficient to protect the justice. Arjuna was charged with His power and Arjuna fought with the enemies. In this field the devotees can worship formless God or statues and can get apparent and temporary protection in this world. Meaning of Nivrutti (Path of Liberation) In this field people want God only. Their aim is the permanent association with the God and not the temporary results in this world. They never care for the worldly justice. They don’t care for their body or family bonds. Their concentration is always on God. Here the justice is also crossed. Prahlada did not care for his father’s death. God came directly and fought with the enemy in his case. Gopikas left every body and every thing for the sake of Lord Krishna. He liberated them in this world itself. God in human form was required by Gopikas and not by Arjuna. Gopikas wanted to see, touch, talk and live with the God. The Lord came in the human form as Krishna for the sake of Gopikas only. Arjuna wanted only the power of God to protect justice by getting back the kingdom. Therefore, Arjuna worshipped statues like Siva Lingam and energetic body like Siva. Lord Krishna was an instrument for Arjuna in achieving his kingdom. The aim of Arjuna was kingdom and not Krishna. But in the case of Gopikas the aim was Krishna and not anything else or anybody else. They crossed even the traditional justice and ran to Brindavanam to dance with Krishna. They were unable to live for even one minute without Krishna. In this field of Nivrutti the Lord comes down in human form and donates Himself to the devotees. Such human form is called as Datta. In this field the Lord has all the three aspects of Brahma, Vishnu and Rudra. He shows Sattvam of Vishnu, Rajas of Brahma and Tamas of Rudra. In this field He gives troubles when you worship Him. Troubling a devotee unnecessarily is Rajas and Tamas. In this field only the real love on God is proved. When God troubles you after your worship and if you are unable to leave Him still then that is real love. Thus single face Datta (Vishnu) is for Pravrutti and three-faced Datta is for Nivrutti. God acts according to the field you choose. In Nivrutti only He protects you from hell and takes you to His eternal abode. In this field only He attracts the evil effects of His real devotees and undergoes sufferings to save His devotees. Here the attitude of God is not logic and justice but only pure love. But real devotees oppose this. Therefore, He undergoes the bad results without their knowledge. The God circulates the information regarding Pravrutti and Nivrutti to everybody so that nobody can blame Him later on for their ignorance. Except the motto of information He is not having an intention to attract the people into Nivrutti. He is not benefited in any way by doing so. All the benefit is only for the devotee. The person following the Pravrutti always scolds the Nivrutti. The reason is that he is unable to catch God directly in Nivrutti and therefore, discourages that field with jealousy. When he is unable to succeed in that field he does not want anybody to succeed in that field. He wants to close that field and wants that his field only to remain. Such psychological jealousy is not good because God will punish him. Even though he is incapable he should appreciate others and in such case God will help him to come to Nivrutti. In nutshell God helps in Pravrutti with sympathy only and such help is only in the apparent and temporary rearrangement of your good and bad results. In Nivrutti the fruit is permanent and real and God really loves the devotees. If you are unable to follow Nivrutti, please be in Pravrutti at least and never become an atheist. You try constantly to follow the Nivrutti. You might have not reached the goal, but you have left your station. Only a person who is always limited to Pravrutti should worry. The attitude towards Pravrutti or Nivrutti comes from the accumulated Sadhana done in several previous births. Such a person turns spontaneously towards Nivrutti and the association of Satguru is only accidental. In the pearl shell one raindrop fallen becomes the pearl. Even if 100 drops fall on mud pond, all the drops become mud water only. Therefore, the deservingness of the devotee due to previous Sadhana is the most important factor and not the close or long association with Satguru. One may sit on the seashore for several hours but he has only a small tumbler in his hand. He can take only a tumbler of water even after sitting for several hours on the seashore. A fellow may come with a pot but he takes a full pot of water in 5 minutes. The Satguru rains His divine knowledge on all the people impartially so that He should not be blamed later on. The knowledge is essential like the rain, but more essential is the deservingness of the devotee that developed based on his sincere spiritual efforts for the past several births continuously (Purva Janma Samskara). |

Astrologers say that you are getting troubles due to the movement of the planets. This means that you are getting the trouble not due to your previous sins. Therefore you feel that you are unnecessarily getting troubles, even though you have not done any sin. Astrologers say that a police arrests you because you are going on a road and accidentally the police is also walking on the same road. You are very anxious to get rid of these troubles because these are unnecessary punishments for you. The astrologers exploit your anxiety by suggesting some remedies. The word Graha (planet) means that system which gives the exact result for your exact deed in exact time. The planets are just the computers. They are inert and are not independent. Only Swami can change the decisions. Therefore there is no use of worshipping the planets. One has to receive the fruits of the deeds whether good or bad (Naabhuktam Ksheeyate Karma). There is only one way to escape the fruits of the deeds. The Lord comes down in human form and undergoes the punishments for your sake and saves you. At the same time He will protect the prestige of God of Justice and the theory of Karma. This is the main reason for His human incarnation. He will never cancel the fruits of deeds. He will sacrifice Himself and protects you. When you cannot pay the fine, your father pays it. You must become eligible for such grace of the Lord. The eligibility is achieved by you when you do not aspire to get rid of the fruits of your deeds and prepare to undergo the punishments of all your sins. You should never think that the Lord should sacrifice for your sake. |

Is the turbulence in life is due to previous life's karmas?
Now you have understood the meaning of karma. A person did some bad deed (paapa karma or vikarma). The person went to hell and was punished there. The punishment reduced the intensity of quality (guna or samskara) which is the cause of that deed. But the quality is not completely removed and a small trace of it remains. Punishment cannot remove the quality which is a form of wrong knowledge. The wrong knowledge can be completely removed only by right knowledge and not by external physical punishment. Of course the punishment reduces the intensity of wrong knowledge to a great extent. A thief can leave his quality of stealing only on realization obtained by the right knowledge. Any extent of torture cannot remove this quality completely. Therefore, even when the thief comes out of the police station, a trace of the quality of stealing remains. But if he meets a Satguru and receives right knowledge, the quality can be removed completely. Valmiki, a robber, became a sage by the preaching of Narada but not by the third degree treatment in a police station. The samskara or quality is knowledge and can be destroyed by another type of knowledge only, as a diamond is cut by another diamond. Except the knowledge, no other physical works like chanting the name, doing worship, singing songs or any other physical exercise can remove the wrong knowledge which is the cause of sins. Now what is this wrong knowledge? Is it not karma? As I told you the knowledge is also karma because any part of the creation is karma only. Quality or samskara is a process of feeling or thinking of awareness which is karma only. But the karma of awareness can be removed by another karma of awareness only and not by the karma of matter or inert energy. Beating and burning are the works done by inert matter and inert energy. They can affect the body and since the body is connected to mind, it can create fear and reduce the intensity of the wrong knowledge but cannot remove it from the root. Only the logical analysis of right knowledge can remove this samskara or quality from the root. When the quality is removed, it’s corresponding deed also disappears. Therefore the right knowledge removes the cause of the karma and thus burn the quality and its deed from the root (Jnanagnih Sarva karmani-the Gita). When the sinner comes to the earth from the hell he is with the trace of quality. Since the quality is also basically karma, the trace of quality is called as karma sesha (remains of karma). This trace of quality grows in a congenial atmosphere into a big tree and the deed is again repeated. The punishment of this deed may be in the hell or sometimes may be immediate. Sometimes the thief may be caught by the house owner on the spot and may be beaten immediately. Sometimes the thief may be caught in the police station and may be beaten there. Even if he escapes these two places he will certainly be beaten in the hell. Therefore the deed of the previous birth punished in the hell comes down along with the soul as karma sesha (quality or samskara) which is responsible for the corresponding deed on this earth and which may yield its fruit here itself. In such case his previous quality called as previous karma is certainly responsible for the misery here. Here you have to understand one point. The karma of the previous birth is not giving its result directly in this birth. The samskara which was responsible to the karma of the previous birth continues into this birth as a trace, which grows in a congenial atmosphere and generates its corresponding karma once again, which may yield sometimes its fruit here itself. Thus the karma of the present birth is only responsible directly for your misery here and the present karma has its root in the samskara of previous birth. This samskara can be called as karma and thus in that sense it is said that the karma of the previous birth is responsible for the present misery. The inner meaning of the word 'Karma'
The Gita says that the meaning of the word Karma has very deep sense (Gahanaa Karmano Gatih). This world is called as creation. Creation means work like explanation etc. Karma means work. Therefore this world is a form of work only. Work is a form of energy. Energy is dynamism or action or work. Matter is energy. Heat, sound etc. are forms of energy. Therefore the world which consists of space, matter, light, heat, awareness etc. is essentially energy or work only. Space is a form of energy. Awareness is also a form of energy. Therefore all this creation is work only. Work needs the worker. The worker is God. God is the creator and creation is His work. This entire world is said to be the dance (work) of Shiva. This entire world is just a game (work) of God. Therefore you should realize that any part of this creation is work or dance or game of God. The working material (matter) is also a form of His work only. The forces in this creation are again His works only. Thus you should realize that every part of His creation as the work of God and thus we should constantly remember God. When you see an object, the object is His work. The process of seeing is His work. The subject (yourself), who is also an object for others, is also work of God. If you analyse yourself, you can realize that you are entirely His work only. The matter of your body, working forces like heat, circulation force of blood etc. are also His works. Awareness is His work. The basic form of your awareness which is energy is also His work only. Knowledge is the work of intelligence. Devotion is the work of mind. Service is the work of your body. Sacrifice which is a process of leaving something is also a work. Therefore whatever you understand is work and understanding itself is work. The word Karma is frequently repeated in the Gita. There is nothing like static condition. Even in a static stone, the molecules, atoms and subatomic particles are rotating, vibrating and spinning indicating essentially the work only. The Gita says that work should be found in static state (Akarmanichayah). The Gita also says that you should find no work in the work (karmanya karma yah pasyet). What does this mean? This means, you should not think that the work is the work of itself. You should find the worker who is doing the work. You should not think that the work is going on by itself.
