" R " Rated Stuff

The JESUS NAZIS and other WEAK MINDED RELIGIOUS, DEPENDENT
PEOPLE, are quick to blame the " R " rated Movies and Television Programs for the Moral Decay in the USA.

I would be interested to hear what rating they would give to
the BIBLE? It seems to that it is full of VIOLANCE, HATE, TRICKERY, and full of ZEALOTED acts from ZEALOTED PEOPLE. Is it worthy of EMULATION?

You old rascal - just when we thought it was safe to come out, you start up the old 'nazi' engine again !!

The bible is full of blood and guts and war and treachery and moral misconduct and SINNNNN !!

WHY : because it is a story about PEOPLE. People like you and me, Bill, who get things wrong and have to make it good again and we get our pants wet and get our feet in the sh*t and generally find (when we are real with ourselves) that we are JUST like the people that God brings to our notice in the bible.

But that is why He wrote it, because it's you and me Bill that need to get our act together and see our Creator for WHO HE IS and then get ourselves in line with HIS CORRECT WAY of seeing things. It's all there and WHEN YOU ASK FOR YOUR MIND TO BE OPENED UP - God will actually reveal 'what it's all about'....TO YOU....PERSONALLY.

BUT - I know that that is a massive challenge. However - knowing a bit about you Bill - I think that you would be up to ANY genuine challenge.......you've always been there before.

So how about stopping all the RUBBISH about what is in God's "MANUAL FOR LIFE" and get down to some serious THINKING. Be selfish for once : This is purely between YOU AND GOD.

IN THE END - BE ASSURED : GOD WILL WIN - which ever game you play.

My very best wishes to you Bill - you have my genuine respect and warm regards - but at this moment you just don't share the same ticket that I have. Not that I earnt it - it was given to me as a gift....you know what I am saying.

It is my hope that Andrew is up to posting his views. Of late the discussions on religion have been too far removed from a truely useable expression of faith. Bickering over aspects of different religious beliefs is not the preferred way of sharing the Gospel of Christ. Propagandistic assualts on anothers beliefs is actually a form of violence (a sin of which I am guilty) which is prohibited by Christian doctrine. To a Christian any form of violence is morally wrong. Perhaps that is why there are so few here with which to search for spiritual peace and justice.
