THE AUTHENTICITY OF THE BILBLE

The Bible says, "And that from a child thou hast known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" 1Tim.3:15,16. Any other religious books besides the Bible do not have nearly as much fullfilled prophecy(if not any) as the Bible does. Prophecy is one of the most convincing factors that portrays the Bible as God's Word and the final authority. When the written word from the Bible prophesies of something to come to pass, and it verily come's to pass exactly the way it was said to, this is clear proof that it was God's will to have that prophecy fullfilled. 2Peter1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
Here are a few of the Bible's fullfilled prophecies concernig the coming of Christ:Is.53:7He was opressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb(mute), so he openeth not his mouth. FULLFILLED: Mark15:4 And Pilate asked him again, saying, Answerest thou nothing? beholdhow many things they witness against thee. But Jesus answered nothing; so that Pilate marvelled.
PROPHETIC SCRIPTURE: Is.50:6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off thehair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting. FULLFILLED: Matt.26:67 Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands,
PROPHETIC SCRIPTURE: Is.53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. FULLFILLED: Rom.5:6,8 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
PROPHETIC SCRIPTURE: Ps.22:7,8 All them that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying, He trusted on the Lord that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him. FULLFILLED: Luke23:35 And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saed others; let him save himself, if he be the Christ, the chosen of God.
PROPHETIC SCRIPTURE: Ps.109:4 For my love they are my adversaries: but I give them myself unto prayer. FULLFILLED: Luke23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
These prophecies of the coming Messiah were all fullfilled in Jesus Christ. The Lord God of Israel inspired these prophets of the Old Testamnet to write these prophecies of the coming Messiah and the evidence that they were God inspired is that they were fullilled!!!!! The most important prophecies of a religion is the prophecies that prove that prove their god to be the true God. There is no other religion that has precisely fullfilled prophecy conerning their god as the Bible does. As you can see, the above prophetic Scriptures were fullfilled exactly the way they were prophesied to, in Jesus Christ. Christ is the Messiah!!!!! This Scriptural prophecy shows the Bible to be the Book of God!!!!! No other religious book can be so clearly truth. This is the kind of evidence man wants to verify a believed truth. Well God has given it man. Hundreds of prophecies in the Bible, and all fullfilled exactly the way told to be. The most sure religion in the world is Christianity. It has been proven and verified countless times. Just think about evidence!!!!! Jesus brought back people from the dead, he restored vision to the blind, he made the mute speak, he cast legions(thousands!) of demons out of a demon possessed man, but most of all he gives rest to the weary soul, peace to the wandering heart, joy unspeakable, boundless love, a meaning true meaning to life, and yet greatest of all LIFE EVERLASTING. "Come unt me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I WILL GIVE YOU REST. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart:and ye SHALL FIND REST UNTO YOUR SOULS." matt.12:28,29. I tell you from experience, before I had Christ in my heart, I tried everything to find peace in my heart, but I just coudn't!!!!! I knew just from being around other Christians that it was Christ that gave them the peace and happiness they had. And I wanted the what they had. And when I finally trusted Christ as my personal Lord and Savior, an indescribable felling of peace and rest came upon me. You can have all the things you ever desired and still not find peace and rest in your heart. You can only find that peace when you come to your Creator, Jesus Christ!!!!! The Scriptures say, "What shall it profit a man if he gain the whole world and lose his own soul(spend eterity in The Lake of Fire). Remember, "Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God(Bible).

The content of your last post has been read by me in a different medium. At that time the claims made in it were called into question, and here they must once more be questioned as to their truthfulness.

You assert that there is sufficient evidence for the establishing of faith in the doctrines of christianity. Yet none of this evidence is present for our consideration, we being given only the claim that there is this certain evidence of which there should be no doubt. But, my dear fellow, we who do not sup at your table have grave doubts as to the goodness of your assurances.

Perhaps, as becomes one of the proclaimed christian virtues, you might be so kind as to deliver to us but one small piece of evidence that will pass the muster of our critical inquiry. Surely, such a humble request is not beyond the ability of one so adept in the doctrine and tenets of the venerable teachings, and, for sure, accomplished in the lore and history of the same.

We of the heathen community beg of you to render unto us this small, but invaluable, favor.

I will do just that my friend. Jesus said in Matthew 24 verses 5-9, For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ; and shall deceive many. Is there not already some who have claimed to be the Christ in this present day and age? Matt.24:6-9 And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. FACT: In the last century there has been two World Wars, hundreds of smaller wars, almost a war between America and Russia(The Cold War), and several other rumored wars. Verse 7, For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. FACT: In the last century Hitler rose up against many nations in Europe. The Pakistanians have risen up against the Israelites, the Pakistanians want part or all of Israel and the Israelites want to keep it. There has been and still are famines(severe lack of food, starvation) in many of the African countries. There are pestilences(fatal, incurable diseases) all over the world today. One good example of this is Aids. People are dying like flies in Africa from the Aids virus and America isn't too far behind. 1 in every 4 sexually active teens in America have an STD(sexually transmitted disease)!!!!! Cancer is spreading like wild fire all over America, and all because of the stinking tobbaco industry!!!!! In the last century there has been a high increase in eartquakes, infact, the most earthquakes in recored history. THIS IS NOT DISTPUTABLE!!!! THIS IS FACT!!!!!

Would it surprise you to learn that the same predictions(?) were uttered some thousands of years before your messiah ever appeared? They (the predictions) are to be found in ancient Sumeria, Babylonia, Suyria, Egypt, India, and Persia. Should not one also accept these as evidence that goes to prove the existence of Jesus? Afterall, the majority of the prophecies(?) pre-dated him by only three to five thousand years.

As you have asked me for evidence backing my claims, I also would like to see evidence(at least quoted writings) that backs your claim, if you have any. I think that you might be telling the truth about this, but it's a big claim. Anyway, let us prepare ourselves for the Second Coming of Christ, as it warns us in Matthew 24:38,39,42, For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. Take care everyone.

The onus is on you if you are, as you set out, to prove the actual existence of your massiah. A skiriting of your promise by asking that I present proof of my rebuttals before you have presented useable evidence is not designed to carry this debate along. Let it be known that I need not post any claim of which I have no proof.

Here is another fact for you. The story of Noah and the Flood is pure plagiarism. That tale is literally thousands of years old and is found in nearly every ancient culture ever known.

It seems as though you are now using falsehoods to support an immense body of lies. Is there no hard evidence at all that might verify your claims?

Well obviously the tale of Noah and the Flood would be found in many many ancient cultures(after the Flood),by golly it is history, why woudln't it. The very spot where Noah's Ark wrecked from the Flood has been found. Some scientists believe that there is a good chance that the Flood took place. The land shapes, for example, the Grand Canyon, are evidence in themselves. Anyway's, that's not the subject we are discussing, is it. I'm glad that we can at least agree that what Jesus predicted in Matthew about the last days is in the present occuring. This is clear proof that what Jesus and the Bible predict, comes to pass. Exploring other prophecies, if we do, we will see the same thing.
