what is TRUTH?

Greetings everyone.

My question is simple, but then again, maybe not.
For months now I've been reading about the truth of God and the truth of the Bible. Could someone explain to me what is truth. Is truth the actuality of existence or is it the biased opinion of the winner. By that I mean the story of God's battle with the Devil. It is a well known fact that history is written by the winners. God won so God wrote his book. What if it went the other way?
Hitler blamed the Jews for all the ills that have befallen Germany. THAT was accepted as truth. Was it? Were Stalin, Moussolini, Napoleon truthful? Many would agree that they were not. And yet they commanded huge followings and they wrote their own histories all the way up until their downfalls. Only then did history change.
I don't want to rant and rave, so I'll finish with one final statement.

Truth is purely subjective. What is true to one man maybe falsehood to another. And to all the Christians, beware the truth that you inflict on others. For if your truth turns out to be a lie, then you will have two souls to attone for.

On this I must beg to differ with you. Truth is always objective, objectified, or object oriented.

I truely don't see how it might be the fruit of subjectivity.
