What is the Devil's wish? His wish is
that you spend forever with him in HELL! He
has brought no doubt billions of people to
HELL THE PLACE OF ETERNAL TORMENT! The Devil
knows thats where he will spend eternity, and
wants every soul to spend it with him! There
is an alternative to living a life our way
and going to hell, it is Jesus and only Jesus! Although there is pleasure in doing evil or committing sin there are also conseq-
uences. IN REVELATION 3:20 JESUS SAID:
" Behold I stand at the door(door of your heart) and nock, if any man HEAR MY VOICE and
OPEN the door, I will come into him, and sup
with him, and he with Me.

Paul, some of us here have realised the actuality and necessity of the situation and accepted God's free offer of salvation. Unfortunately there are also some for whom personal pride and total self-reliance is all important.

How can you show that to 'give away what you cannot keep, allows you to gain what you cannot earn'??.

First thing, Andrewblow, maybe you read wrong or I implied the wrong thing, but
I certainly did'nt mean it the way you said it. Sorry anyway, see ya later Andrewblow.

1) All people who oppose Jesus(God), do
come under some of those definitions, mainly
arch-enemy of good. The Word clearly says so.

2) Every person who rejects Jesus the Savior, who shed His prescious blood for all
will by no means escape eternal damnation.
John 14:6 explains it.

3)I'm sure some christians are like that
but the many I have known listen to the claims of those who they witness to,respect-
fully. All true christians have faith in the
Word of God and believe it because it's livi-ing and powerful and speaks the truth.

4) Christians believe what the Bible says and non-christians do not!

5) We call ourseleves christians because
we believe in Christ!

PauIl, the three (3) Epistles and the Book of Revelations was written by a profound Gnostic who worked hard at countering the Christian assualt on Gnosticism. He did a masterful job of tying ancient gnosis to Christic Teachings. In fact, he works were/are so devious as to fool the elect of the churches. Even today there are few who attack John for his gnostic undermining of Christic Teachings. I sometimes have to smile at how neatly old John waged a wholly destructive war on the believers of the day. Of all the people one encounters in the Bible, John, without a doubt, ranks with the smartest of them all. Personally, I like the old codger and reprobate (meaning his refusal to accept Christic Teachings at the expense of his cherished Gnosticism). He can be a bright light when things get ambiguous. -THE DESTROYER-

Hi again Paul-

You quote the Apostle John - and rightly so. It was he who (with a lifetime of both living with and then working for) Jesus Christ, he could say "Dear children, it is the last hour: and you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come.......". "Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have come into the world". (BUT)... "See how great is the love that the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called 'children of God' for that is what we are !" (which is something to be accepted through Christ with great humility - but even greater JOY).

Paul, dear old John is rightly called 'the Apostle of love' and I think that it is safe to suggest that where you see and read 'love' and feel God's spirit revealing love through someones' postings - then that post should be valued.

Finally, Jesus said "By their fruits you will recognise them". Test what you read - here as well as anywhere else - and if it is purporting to come from 'a man of God' (however that term is suggested) - God will show you: 'right, or wrong'. He does this free of charge for all His children because He looks after each properly and positively, as a perfect father would.
