Question

In that MAN is the ACTUAL EMBODIMENT of EVIL, it is not rational to BELIEVE that HE can know TRUTH. Therefore, one must REASON that the TRUTH and the LIE are fully interchangeable in HIS MIND.

WRONG. Man was created perfect by God and in God's image and capable of having one-2-one communion with his creator. He then chose to rebel, thereby inviting sin into his life and lost this perfect communion.

However, that does not stop him recognising and therefore knowing the truth and subsequently acting on it, ie: man has a sinful nature, but he is not per se the imbodiment of evil.

His nature remains evil until his death, but the acceptance by faith of the personal sacrifice of Jesus Christ (one-2-one again) cleanses that person from all sin and he/she receives back the perfect state in which God created them for eternity.

The primary task of God's Holy Spirit is to 'reveal the truth' and any individual only has to ask God 'who gives generously, without judging'.

The result ? -peace........

..., so faith without works is dead... James 2:26. _____________________________________________ The followers of Christianity are wont to ignore this passage, or seek ready made excuses for not abiding by it. Commanded by Scripture to labor unceasingly for the salvation of man, they instead labor unceasingly to avoid their spiritual duty. No longer is it believed by them that Faith is the substance of things, and that there is no substance till there is honest labor. These boards and discussions found there is undeniable proof that they are faithless. Instead of standing firm in the face of challenges they hastily excuse themselves and hide till there is no longer the threat of expose of their falseness. Followers of Christianity are the first to wither where courage is called for to overcome adversity. They are the first to wilt in the heat of opposition. They are the very first to whinningly and cowardly tuck their tails between their legs and flee when a dark cloud comes over the horizon. How can they possibly call themselves anything other than the worse imaginable slurs upon the human race?

"None is perfect - no not one" (Bible)

....but don't tar us all with the same brush - some are trying........some indeed are succeeding in standing firm. Some are fed up with continually reading verbal flatulance and are just getting on with it.

Each to his own.
